As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

"Gerrard scored from the spot to make it 2-2 after David Ngog had appeared to dive over a Lee Carsely tackle."
Appeared to dive???....fuck me if there was a pool there he'd have got a gold medal.
Jesus fucking christ.... they danced around that issue
One of the most blatant dives i have seen and it was 10 times worse than eddie's against the sweaty's but the dickhead who hosted the game trying to find excuses for it -''Don't you think he was trying avoid being injured?''or ''He trying to avoid contact by hurdling the challenge but lost he footing''.Now it's disgusting and shows blatant favouritism when a TV channel has to find excuses for cheating by one the media favourite teams.
At least keegan said it was diving but like you all say it won't get the media attention as Eddie's did as it was by Laughapool.WANKERS.
THANK GOD(Allah) it wasnt one of our players.
There would most definately have been a Hanging by now.
Oh well its only a scouser player so be nice to him(THE FA)
Is there any truth in the rumour that the Liverpool fans will be blaming Ngog's dive on the Yorkshire / Turkish / Bulgarian / Belgian police (delete as appropriate). That's normally the cause of anything that causes offence to Scousers isn't it ?
i have always said that a yellow for diving isnt enough of a deterrant. Most strikers dont get to 5 yellows anyway so, if their side is losing, quite a few will think its worth going down since the rewards can be so great- especially when often a ref doesnt give a penalty but isnt convinced that it is a dive and hence the player escapes punishment
For clear cut cases of cheating, the only thing the authorities should do is issue a retrospective 3 game ban. That, and a heavy fine, might make a player think twice about it, and its the best chance we have of stamping this sort of behaviour out
