Probably reading too much into it but after Wenger’s comments I wouldn’t be surprised to see Walcott play. As right as he was to be pissed off with the question I’m sure there was also an element of psychology in his “outburstâ€

The team will be even more patched up than might have been expected. Am far from confident. But even a draws no good.

They have to fight for 90 minutes regardless of the result. If we could beat the tossers it would be a real morale booster. But like I said, I'm far from optimistic.

Dont have a clue what he is going to do about the left back situation, but after the performance against Sunderland i don think he should putt Traore there... if he could not step up and grab his chance against sunderland what chance is there that he wont freeze againt chelsea!! As i have said many times on here, the idea of sylvestre playing worries me!! Although i have critisized people for sayin this, i think he should put Eboue or Sagna there.... preferably Sagna and eboue at RB.

i think they also have a few injuries... Cole and Boswinga are out (as far as i know) and they are having doubts over drogba and fatty (although im sure both of them will make miraculous recoveries)

Personally am a little worried about this one, as if we slip 11 points behind them i think it would be too much to catch them.

Drogba was training for Chelsea's game tonight so I'm sure he'll be turning over Silvestre on Sunday. So really they are only miss Fat Frank and maybe Ballack (??) and Deco, J Cole and Essien can more than make up for that.

I think we can raise our game for this one but i'd be 100% more confident with RVP, Gallas and Clichy or Gibbs fit.

On the title issue, Chelsea have played two more home games than us and only met Liverpool so far out of the 'big 4'. We might not pressure them but i'm sure Man U will. One things for sure, they'll both strengthen in January and we probably won't...

They beat Utd just the other week. :? After this game they’ll have played all of the “big 4â€

Given the injuries I'd be 'delighted' with a draw. I think there will be goals and so could be a 2-2.

Right, that's the sensible bit out of the way...I'm shitting myself. Drogba's playing tonight at Porto so could be him against Silvestre and Anelka terrorising Traore. We've definitely got the quality to frighten them but..............2-2 or 2-3

4-1 chelsea. i can picture us dominating them for the first 30 minutes like we have done for the last 2 cup games and then 1 goal from them will kill us. Fat frank is back so as usual they will have a full team out.... I would love it if we beat them, love it....

Right, surprisingly all their injuries have cleared up.... we're, again surprisingly, got a few more, 10 players injured, that's just the 10, Hmmm... I'm slightly worried... lose this game, and we're out of the running for title.... I'd be happy with a draw, 2-2, but got a bad feeling that we're going to l*** this game...

I think we all know what a massive game this is, especially after sunday.

Its ok saying if we play well at home we will win, but its not quite that simple is it, Chelsea wont let us play as we normally do, they are a very good side, strong and physical and can easily knock us off our stride. Having said that i do think we just need to play our football as best we can, and try to mix it up with their central midfield!

If Drogba does play it will be interesting to see how he plays up against Vermaelen, he wont have come up against many more physical defenders that him so it will be a tough battle.

The new system we have will improve our chances too, as Cheslea are really strong in the middle and most things go through them, we can allow Song and Denilson to deal with Lampard if he plays meaning Cesc can get forward a bit, which in turn will mean Essien wont get forward too much as he will be needed to track Cesc.

I think if Chelsea have a weakness then its at right back, especially if Ivanovic plays, Arshavin or Nasri could be very dangerous up against him, especially cutting in on their stronger foot.

I just hope we dont start flinging the ball in their box as we started to do under pressure on saturday, this tactic will never work against Cheslea as its our weakness and their strength. We need to keep it on the floor and try to run at their defence, especially Terry as i find his weakness is with people going past him at pace, he isnt the quickest on the turn.

A draw wouldnt be the end of our season, far from it...but a win would be excellent, we could do it, we are certainly good enough, especially at home.

Im going to go 2-1 Gunners :barscarf:

I think the line up will be

Almunia
Sagna
Vermaelen
Gallas
Traore
Song
Denilson
Fabregas
Nasri
Arshavin
Eduardo

Bendtner is a big loss for this game as he would be the only play to cause a threat in the air...but Clichy and Van Persie would also be useful but there we go!!

Come on you Gunners!!! :barscarf:
