Islam4UK march; wotton basset

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I agree wholeheartedly. Much respect to the troops, but I hate these extremists. I've joined this group too.
The main thing that put me off that group was that SamiS is one of the admins! :roll: :wink: :lol:

LOL you mean my group? :D

And I joined the other group posted by somebody else, less racist comments in that one.

I have Muslim friends that hate the extremist Islamic element for what it does to their religion and their standing in Ireland.

Me too, all my friends, white black or asian, they all hate these extremists.
If British people were to do this march in Pakistan or Afghanistan, I can almost guarantee they would be executed.

The issue here is the inappropriateness of demonstrating in Wooton Bassett.
There is plenty I don't agree with about this and previous governments - and I for one wouldn't want my boys to be out there - but some of these extremists are going way beyond disagreeing, they are actually encouraging others to take up arms....that's not freedom of speech, it's treason!

And yes, whether you agree or disagree with being in Iraq/Afghanistan, Wooton Bassett is not the place to protest!

Hell of a generalisation there! Do you honestly have proof that shows they are run by ''BNP specialists''? Sounds like something the UAF would say... speaking of which i wonder if they will be counter protesting against them?

Mainly because of their hypocrisy. Where are they when Choudhary and his ilk are stirring up trouble?? Also they are historically ignorant - they label the EDL as fascists and nazis (traditionally leftist extremists) then hold up banners saying ''no to the far right''.
I have it on very good authority that when they dont get their own way at protests things turn ugly and they resort to violence. Hardly pillars of society themselves.

Yes I've done my bit on Facebook.

I was just wondering why Sammis hasn't posted on this subject but then there aren't 4 match tickets going spare.

He seems to comment on everything else.

The reaction to these kind of protests was dealt with rather well on Newswipe last year (go to 3:20 in);

Its not worth getting into a tabloid froth about.
