it actually went, Reg Varney, Biriyani, Dad's ArmyMartin Hayes wrote:For the brief moment in 1991 when, having gone from 'Georgie Graham's Red and White army' to 'Red and White Army" then to "Red Army", we, somewhat surreally, went to...
"Reg Varney! Reg Varney!"
Coventry at home in May 91 was a clear memory...

SILVERWARE SILVERWARE
WE AINT WON SOME SILVERWARE
BUT U KNOW IT GOING TO COME
AS ARSENAL PLAY HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE
SILVERWARE SILVERWARE
WE STILL AINT GOT NO SILVERWARE
BUT AROUND THE WORLD THEY KNOW THE SCORE
ARSENAL ARE ABOUT TO WIN SOME MORE
WE CAN ADD CHAPTERS TO THIS AND START OUR ANTHEM

Two of my favourites...
To the tune of, I don't know what...
Stevie Stone is illegitimate,
He ain't got no birth certificate,
He's got AIDs and can't get rid of it,
He's a Portsmouth bastard.
(I should add, I only heard that once and it was sung by one bloke on his own on the North Bank. Don't know why he sang it, but everyone around him pissed themselves laughing at the randomness of it all).
And this gem from the Stoke fans...
I prefer to the tune 'Too Shy' by Kajagoogo
Tuncay, Tuncay,
Huth, Huth,
Abdoulaye.
Genius

Funniest Chant
Not one of ours but onr from the City fans at Liverpool a few years back when Harry Kewels wife was on "Im A Celebrity" with Cannon and Ball.
"Cannon and Ball are shagging your wife, Cannon and Ball are shagging your wife"
One of ours at the game in which Henry scored four against Leeds, late on he scuffed a shot badly going for a fifth and the North Bank started singing "What the fucking hell was that" - Simple but very funny at that moment.

'Peshwari' and 'Salami' don't know if these men were dicking around.
However, I have heard at the Grove another version to 'Arsene Wengers Red and White army'. The party one?
'Arsene Wengers having a party'. [Grab the Vodka and the Charlie!]
