You just sputed names, you didnt place them into a team. Therefore you dont count.Swale_Gooner1985 wrote:If we are claiming the first shout for Milner then perhaps you should read the actual topic starter?LDB wrote:Hey! Fair enough, but still, his form last season was miles better.augie wrote: DanielD, people talk about gerrard or torres when it comes to those thieving scousers but for me your guy has been the one that has dragged them along when they were struggling badly and he has chipped in with a few crucial goals from midfield. Tbh I am not even sure I rate the guy that highly as a footballer but on his form this season I think he has earned his place

Thus the reason you shouldn't complain about the forum because coming on here must be good practise for you!!!Swale_Gooner1985 wrote:75% of them are complete and utter tossers anyway so it doesnt really make a difference!LDB wrote:I dont want to derail this thread but I just have to say it... Is anyone else concerned that Swale is allowed to shape the minds of this countries youth?

Have to say that I still cannot fathom anybody's reasoning for including song in their team of the season
No doubt the guy has improved but he has yet to show good enough quality in any of our big domestic games and I will always believe that the main reason why he is suddenly held in such esteem by our fans is that they are scared shitless of having denilson in the team instead of him
Having a lack of alternative does not mean that he is good enough

Get ready to hold your hat.... I agree to an extentSPUDMASHER wrote:Song is improving every game but I can see what augie means. I think that he has the potential to stand head and shoulders above anyone else in that position in the league. Give him a year or so and he may well do exactly that.
If Song was named in the team of the season (which he wont be because the idiots choosing wont see past people like Gerrard and Lampard) i would not be surprised and he would deserve his place
but yes given a year i think he will be one of the best around
