AA...total pussy

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I must admit I am getting a bit pissed off with AA his over all performances aren't good enough, and for me his committment is questionable.

From AAs website.

arshavin.eu: Andrey, first of all, how is your health?
A.A: Perhaps, I won’t be able to come out on the pitch for another 2 or 3 weeks.

arshavin.eu: Is it a relapse of your old injury?
A.A: No, this is a new one.

arshavin.eu: All hope is in the club doctors?
A.A: I guess.

arshavin.eu: Several players won’t be able to help Arsenal in Barcelona.
A.A: The other guys will try to play to win.

arshavin.eu: You had to leave the pitch when the score was 0:0. Did you have a chance to see the rest of the game?
A.A: No, I was with the doctors. Now I can say only one thing: Arsenal footballers, without doubt, showed their character.

arshavin.eu: Andrey Arshavin was fighting on the flank, in the center, then a yellow card .... INJURY.
A.A: I’m an Arsenal player.

arshavin.eu: Sure. Andrey, the last question. Why it took Arsenal so long to come round?
A.A: Barcelona had a good start, but we found our way back. There is one more match ahead.

arshavin.eu: There is one more game, and there is still hope not only in doctors but also for a miracle.

I don't really care if he is fucked off in the summer, he is a luxury player that we can't afford to have in our team.

Ive seen some lazy players in my time, AA is up there. Difference is. He can do things that not alot of others can. He needs a sit out, a few games with a view from the bench whether its a rest or being dropped. He cant be fully fit, especially as hes just come back from injury just before Burnley..

was just about to type the same thing.

its sad to see as he looked amazing last season, a lot of us were even saying hes up there with messi and ronaldo. this season, i can now see why we had never heard of him until he was 27. hes too lazy, but can spring up with a piece of magic every now and again, but id rather have a player that worked hard for the team and played more consistently during a 90mins :(

thats sensible get rid of your best players so the likes of denilson vela and eduardo are left....

AW said he didnt start against brum as he was injured. he managed half a game there and aggravated it. he didnt look comfortable though when he came on or in warming up.

he aggravates it again last night making a excellent challenge that he was wrongly booked for and jogs down the tunnel for treatment, surely thats what you want him to do, get treatment asap?you would all rather he sat and watched and delay his treatment and potentially delay his comeback.

what do you want? him to stay on making it worse (and dont give me the cesc did it crap, he would have come off if any subs left after the pen) and stay on and be half the player when you have a fully fit replacement on the bench.

This guy was outstanding against porto at home, none of you were moaning then.

we all know hes lazy, thats just the way it is, but hes also top class as we'ver seen, and is a major asset, he may be a luxury player, but big clubs have luxury players.

ffs we're not a relegation battling team whos fans moan about carrying luxury players when they want fighters.....its the luxury players that win you titles especially when there of AA's talent.

what hampers this side is carrying true 'luxury' players (in that they never contribute) who are shit eduardo, vela, denilson (yes he did well last night but what about 95% of the rest of his games).

Finally some sense on the matter. My two previous post were lost somewhere on the "lazy" thread
