As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Shit. Hardly created anything that half. What's George playing at with this 3 centre-halves bollocks? For fecks sake, we need to score at least 2 goals!!! That's was difficult enough when we had 90 minutes so how the hell are we going to manage it in 45?!! :banghead:

Fecking George Graham!! How's he not started with Perry Groves? Boring arsehole!! Our best chance to win a title for the first time in 18 years and the guy puts out a defensive side!! I wish the useless Scottish *word censored* would feck off back to Millwall where he belongs!!!

Had a quick trawl through the thread and unless I missed it can't believe that no-one mentioned that frequentor of Car Parks....David Pleat and him congratulating Liverpool on having done just what they needed to do (lose 0-1) to win the league :barscarf: !

Good call though about the Steve McMahon "Just one minute to go lads...." ha ha!!!

How can 21 years go so quickly :? I was 30 at the time but it only seems like yesterday. I still can't hear that commentary from Brian Moore without the hairs on the back of my neck standing up straight and a tear appearing in my eye. No words can really do justice to the feelings that those of us old enough to remember experienced that night. I would'nt swap that memory for anything and 11 players who ran their hearts out and would have died for The Arsenal that night, how many of the current squad woud do the same I wonder? What a fucking weekend it was in Highbury and Islington too, the sun shone, seemed as though every boozer was full of singing, dancing, pissed gooners, I'll never experience anything remotely approaching this ever again. Not even a champions league win would feel as special to me now :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I would just settle for as many chances to top it as possible. Come close at all and we'll all be over the moon many a time.

Take my word for it. Being a few years older is overrated....

Best that you just enjoy watching '89 on DVD and get over being too young not to have seen it live....
