I'm seeing Sharapova tomorrow...

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I forgot my camera

She looked amazing though, she really did! - so elegant and athletic. So unlike most female tennis players in that despite her size and strength, she maintained her feminine grace and beauty. Dare I say, she was like a.... Godess

What I like about these tennis events is how relaxed everyone is. After her match, she showered & changed and then sat in the stand to watch the other semi final with us common folk... no bodyguard or anything. After that, she sat outside on the grass bank with her boyfriend and enjoyed the sunshine with everyone else - and the great thing was, no one bothered them apart from the odd youngster asking for an autograph, which she gave with a smile on her face. Everyone else just respected their space. It was great.

As for me.... no suncream and 7 hours in the hot glaring sun (and no shade or cloud all day) has left me looking like a tomato.... I'm THAT red

Nah, I reckon you still have a chance - he didn't even buy her a Solero  and there was no excuse, the ice-cream van was just there! I bet she wasn't impressed.

And rightly so.

If only we'd stopped the culchies from littering our beautiful Dublin streets with their broken dreams and their cross-eyed six-toes-on-each-hand children all those years ago... :(

I'll be at Wimbledon, too - although, I'll be hiding my northern-ness under a veil of irritating cockney swagger. Hmm... I might even say " 'appy days! " after every half decent rally
