maybe mate, maybe. But as I think I've mentioned before, I think the other side of that coin is this.
A) Cesc has won the C/L at Arsenal and the P/L over the past 2-3 seasons (hypothetically) if so, surely he'd then want to go back as why stay ? See Ronaldo at Man U. Once he'd won the lot at Man U what was to be gained by staying ?
B) Cesc has played in a CL final and a Semi Final at Arsenal and albeit fell away towards the end of the season has been in a couple of title races, so he has "competed" for these trophies. Yes maybe he wanted re-assurance of the future, but if so he's hardly had it in signing Chamakh and Kosincy (spelling) so why is he now not banging down the door saying "you told me you'd sign some players"
So to me I think his timing on wanting to go back has no correlation to the perfomance of the team. He's been here a while, and after having his ear chewed by spending weeks with the Spain Squad has decided he wants out. I could be wrong but that's how I see it.
