BELGRADE

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Given the fact that Serbian nationalism/neo-nazis are still about (and what happened to that Toulouse fan), being brown I don't really feel comfortable going there[/quote]

Dont watch that! You would be with the traveling gooners! :wink:

Guys, what hapenned to Tolouse fans is not a joke, and dont forget most of you guys travelling there are from countries that supported NATO during 1999 Kosovo war, their nacionalism level is still high, as a gooner is my concern to warn all of you: where you are travelling can became a very hostile environment.
I would prefer all of you travel together and be solid where you arrive in Belgrade, because i know serbians wery well, and you are not welcome.
Try to avoid any confrontation with them at any stage.

Wish you all treavelling there good luck, and to go back safe to your homes....

Finally, the Serbian currency is Serbian Diners (RSD), below is a brief comparison between RSD and GBP

* £5 – 627.157 RSD
* £10 – 1,254.19 RSD
* £25 – 3,135.78 RSD
* £50 – 6,271.57 RSD

The information is spot on, however the Serbian Dinar is a closed currency and it can be a bugger to change back into sterling. We had to take Euros out there and change when we arrived, if any dinar left over dont forget to change back into Euros. (Or send them to me so I can spend on Lav the Local lager when Im go back next year!)

Nothing should surprise you when it comes to money grabbing from the club these days. I'm surprised they don't yet charge us for taking a piss at The Grove. Disgraceful.

it really seems a bit off the club charging £60 more than it could be.
But i suppose its the Thompsons(or whoever)taking a cut..But im sure sportoptions are making a profit but Arsenal really need to look at this profiteering.

Maybe the official package is flying on Peter Hill-Wood's private jet?
