Interesting Post Louder and probably an observation that is echoed in the bigger picture of life i.e there is always some bugger that thinks he/she is better than you . Like the honesty in the question posed and if the truth be known , subconsciously we probably all format a pecking order and like to think of ourselves as a step up from the Average Fan (Yes , whatever that may be ....)
The Born and Bred within Highbury's walls fan ,i think is entitled to feel a particular stronger bond with the Club after all , not only is it their Team ,its the focal point of their Community from day one , with an Almost spiritual home relationship and also an inheritant tribal defence due to local rivalry that only living next door to hated near neighbors can culture from a young age. That said , Gooners in different continents, as can be evident from this forum seem to ooze Arsenal from their pores and their passion is not to be questioned . Like them , i don't have direct Highbury DNA but then again ,a vast army of the Arsenal 'family ' have no claim to that right but as Safcftm rightly points out , if you have the club in your heart , well that does indeed make you a better grade of Fan .

Is "Louder" the most fucking stupid member we've ever had on here?

10pts for being born within the sound of the whistle at Arsenal on match days
9 pts for being born within Islington
8 pts for being born in North London
7 pts for being born in South London
6 pts for being born in South East England
5 pts for being born elsewhere

You recive a bonus point for each member of your family that supported Arsenal before you were born.

You recive another bonus point for every member of your family that did not support Arsenal and in such you tured your back on the dark side

If you live within 10 miles of another so called big club you get another point for turning your back on your local club to support Arsenal.

1 point for every home game you have attended

2 points for every away game attended

3 points for away games in Europe attended

-5 points for singing TWOY at Arsenal

-10 points if you thought Lee Chapman was the answer to all our problems in the 80's

-10 points if you thought Jeff Blockley was the Answer to anything

-1,000,000 points if you have a strange obsession with blaming the board

Difficult to compare an old boy who was born and bred in Islington who never even bothers to watch Arsenal on TV to a 17 year old who lives in Sweden and worships Arsenal but hasn't had the chance to come over yet....

Think you'd have to operate some sort of points system awarding a rating for different aspects of being a supporter !
