That's soo cheap!
went to a game at the OLYMPIC STADIUM in berlin (you know, the one where italy won the world cup...) and my ticket cost 11 euro, which is about £7.70, AND at the start of the second half, both teams fans' had identical banners promoting a protest march in berlin in a couple of weeks against 'modern' football...

look at the mess this country is in

edit: one of the links has a picture from the game i went to:

Right 19 quid is cheap but, being the militant bastard that I am, I tip my hat to the fans for not accepting what they view as unjust and dont feel unloyal for standing up to the club. People seem to be slightly mocking the fact that they are protesting about their very cheap ticket prices but at the same time they often complain about the very dear price of tickets at our club  Can you imagine the fans at our club organising a boycott to protest at the fact that we are paying the dearest ticket prices in europe ? Can you imagine the derision they would face from our newer breed of fan who refuse to criticise the club for anything ?

In my opinion, and I know I have said this so many times before but I think fans over here are far too weak at standing up for themselves  People keep saying that stadiums over here will never allow standing area's ever again but why should that be the case ? Germany has shown that safe standing area's work so why should the fans of the game just accept that we will never see it happen over here ? How much noise could millions of fans of english clubs make if they stood together (no pun intended) in unison to seek a reversal of the all seater plan cos it shouldnt be forgotten that the all seater thing is not a law of the land so as such is not set in stone. The problem with fans, both in our own club and in general, is that they lack the capacity and courage to protest over anything and it is something that I fear will never change

They're not standing up against their own club. They're standing up against what the opposition rivals are charging for them. Bascially like us boycotting spurs away because they decide to suddenly double the prices.
