This weekends games
You're right mate, that's why I've only attended 1 game in the last couple of months and that was just for the protest. The fact is though that because of our worldwide support a match boycott is very hard to achieve. We have 2 weeks to save our club before Hicks refinances or we go into administration, i'm praying we go into administration as it would be the lesser of the two evils and hopefully we can get nearer to new owners. -9 points is worth it.Big_G wrote:wouldnt the best protest be for no one to go, empty stadium, full pockets, win winBOJDE LFC wrote:Same ol' shite. i dont see who it can just be the owners to blame though, theres still 11 players on the bitch, 7 on the bench and a manager who should be getting things done on the pitchBOJDE LFC wrote:You're right mate, that's why I've only attended 1 game in the last couple of months and that was just for the protest. The fact is that what goes on off the pitch affects what goes on the pitch and now we have to put up with signing players like Poulsen who is quite old and has been quite poor the last couple of seasons at Juve and Konchesky, we only actually have a couple of world class players in our squad and we were promised no debt would be put upon the club (lies), the manager would be getting full financial backing (lies), work on our new stadium would begin within 60 days (lies) and other lies. Why we actually paid £6 million to replace Rafa with Hodgeson I will never know.Big_G wrote:i dont see who it can just be the owners to blame though, theres still 11 players on the bitch, 7 on the bench and a manager who should be getting things done on the pitchBOJDE LFC wrote:You're right mate, that's why I've only attended 1 game in the last couple of months and that was just for the protest. not great game tbh, poor ref being the main issue with it, esp in the 2nd-3rd minutestopgoon wrote:Haven't seen any of Citeh/barcodes game and don't know the score, I've recorded their game..don't know why either![]()
Just wondered if it's worth watching to take my mind of the last 2 and a half hours or will it piss me off even more.
And please don't flash up the bloody score

Was the result fair, in your opinion?
Is Woy a good manager?
Do you think your new stadium will ever be built?
Honest questions. Not a piss take.
From what I hear Blackpool outplayed us at times and had more possession than us a lot of the time, they took their chances and we didn't get our piece of luck that we needed to score a last gasp leveller so yes, Blackpool deserved the result.olgitgooner wrote:

He's a good manager for a team like Fulham or Wolves, not Liverpool, his style suits clubs that are prepared for a relegation dogfight (us now), his expectations are far too low for this club and his tactical nous is nowhere near that of the like of Rafa. The fact that he said this tells you something 'bout him.Is Woy a good manager?

Welcome back BOJDE, been a while. Have to admit I'm shocked by the situation at Liverpool both on and off the pitch. As much as we grumble about our board and team, I still thank God every day we didn't go with the Pool/Manc style leveraged buy out.
With no money for top players and iconic players like Gerard getting older and Torres seemingly getting more and more injury prone, I struggle to see how the Pool can get out of this situation any time soon. They won't get relegated, they are too good for that, but they could have a few years of mid table mediocrity ahead of them.
Liverpool dominated football when I was a young Gooner in the 70's and 80's. I never thought so big a club could end up in a situation like this...
