I think Davies is certainly a good player.

Have wondered for a while why he hasn't seemed to get a chance at the English squad, especially with such poor choice available.

Cant imagine we’d have played to his strengths even if we had. Would be a bit like Allardyce signing Vela as the target man for his hoof & charge tactics. Plus, as much as I agree he can be decent at times, it has to say something that nobody better than Bolton has ever gone in for him. Not even a upper mid-table team, or even just a more ambitious/wealthy Bolton-level team, never mind a club of our size. :?

I find it hard to believe people are questioning his ability. Year upon year he has caused some of the best, if not the best defenders problems.

His work rate and link up play are second to none.

An awful lot of journalists from what I gather think call-up is long over due and so do I.

An excellent player imo.
