MAN CITY AWAY THREAD.. and good pub

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

2-0 home win. How is our defence going to keep a clean sheet? It'll be the same old story like at chelsea the other week, loads of possession and chances but don't do fuck all with them and they'll hit us a few times on the break.

We aren´t playing that well also despite League position 3.
2 defeats
2 draws
2 narrow wins over Blackburn and Birmingham City
-> not convincing so far, so I think we will lose again

The area around the ground is a complete dump - straoght out of Shameless. Stay away from the local boozers.

Im gonna be in town for the day and was also hoping to park in a decent boozer. Last time I went I drank in a pub in the station and there were equal amounts of gooners and citeh fans.

A couple of people here have mentioned piccadilly gardens so can anyone recommend any particular boozer where my odds of getting assualted are quite low??

Help required people, I got my Citeh tkt weeks ago but haven't received one I bought for my mate using the missus' membership. It's still not arrived as of today and I doubt it will tomorrow. Reckon the postie, he's a chavski w****r's probably stolen it.

The club's saying they will arrange a pick up at Citeh, now I've not had to do that before, anyone know what happens ?. I'm a bit worried as the ticket's for a female member, do we have to show ID to pick it up or just give the name ?

I had to do that the same thing once at Anfield, and I was worried that I was a bloke picking up a woman's ticket. I came up with a great cover story, but didn't get to use it as as soon as I mentioned the name he handed the ticket over no questions asked. The northerners tend to be very friendly and helpful so I wouldn't imagine you'd have much trouble.

I think we might just do that and fingers crossed no one gets arsey about it.

I think it'll be close but still a home win 2-1 :( :barscarf:

Sagna's back. Maybe Kos too.

Almunia still 'injured'.

From arse.com:

[quote]Bacary Sagna is back for the trip to Manchester City on Sunday.

The right back has been missing since injuring his thigh at Chelsea on October 3 but is fit for the weekend.

Laurent Koscielny (back) has a minimal chance of being included but Manuel Almunia (elbow) is still definitely out.

Elsewhere, Robin van Persie (ankle) and Aaron Ramsey (leg) will not be seen until November. The same is true for Thomas Vermaelen. Wenger admitted concern about the centre back’s on-going Achilles injury but brushed aside suggestions it was a long-term problem.

“For the weekend, we could have Sagna available,â€

2-0 Man City. Although if we do manage to score first it could be a lot different.
