anyway flash, don't think that the guy is a saint. he recently went on twitcam and said some pretty nasty things to the supporters that were watching him, stuff like "what you earn a week is less than what i spend with my dog".

we're used to some pretty heavy banter here, people really don't respect each other. i fucking hate it.

Its like basic nature all turning on the weakest one

Can the chimps use weapons though?

Well seeing as it would be in water (it would just be silly on dry land) I would say the range of weapons would be limited to knives/harpoons, slashing or stabbing weapons in general. If we allow one weapon per chimp and accept that they have a slash/stab radius of approx one metre I think the sharks would issolate individual chimps and tear them to shreds. Lack of chimp agility in water would prevent them teaming up effectively.

I'm going with a fatality count of 5 chimps to every shark. Sharks win.

hmmm... ok, they can have scuba gear but the harpoons have to be of the hand held spear variety (ie; they cannot be projectiles that can be fired over distance). I want the sharks and chimps in close when the blood letting begins. I still put my money on the sharks because the chimps cannot read and thus won't be familiar with a shark's weak spots.

I'm sorry - you are wrong. The sharks can take a couple of good stabs off a harpoon and keep fighting. But one half decent bite on a chimp's skinny-assed arm or leg is going to lead to death pretty quickly through shock, blood loss and severe trauma. Also we must consider the Percy Dalton syndrome that chimps are notorious for; just sitting (or in this case floating) around rubbing their own shit on their faces.
