As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I was hoping for this draw...i really, really want us to kick seven shades of shite out of them over both legs and get that little Mayfield thugknack sacked....

I think the other one as this beat it by a whole minute!
I've been to Ipswich many times. Two that stick in the memory though were a little....unsavoury. The first was being in a pub close to the ground (across a market square?) which was dismantled almost brick by brick by fellow gooners. I recall being outside by the time roof tiles were being thrown. It was wrong....but still kind of funny in a way.
The second was sitting with a group of mates amongst the home fans and pouring a pint (my memory is of doing it in slow motion....) over a tractor boy who decided - somewhat unwisely - to aim his goal celebrations in my direction!
Hope I can make it to this one as well..... !
One away to the turnip crunchers that always sticks in my mind is a first day of the season game, about 77/78. Untold gooners all over the place, and remember one Arsenal geezer getting up into the rafters of the stand, walking ove rto where he was above the Ipswich fans and pissed on them It was also the day the ref took the players off the pitch for about 10 minutes because of a violent thunderstorm. As we were losing 1-0 at that point we were hoping for it to be abandoned but alas we came back out to complete a 1-0 defeat Away to Ipswich was always an eventful day out tho
God I remember that pub around the train station(??), I was young(!!!) then and father made a sharp exit once the roof tiles started coming off, Ipswich actually had a good team then I remember??

God, I remember that one as well. Big puddles on the pitch and you just knew it was going to be abandoned and they just carried on!

It was one of those days when the beer flows and everyone is having a great time, but people started taking liberties and no-one tried to stop them and then the liberties got just a bit more daring and you kind of knew which direction things were heading....
Damn i dident know who the f.. are Tractor boys, sorry i have posted the thread the other day about CC, anyway i think its time for me to retire.
What do you guys think??

Don't retire mate! Nobody on here is perfect, in fact there are a lot of mad men. One of the great things about this place is that we like having lots of different people with all sorts of views and backgrounds. An Albanian gooner posting from Afghanistan is cool.
