Keys and Gray sign for Talksport

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

As far as I can see Talkshite is owned by utv media, the same guys who own utv in Ireland and there doesn't seem to be any link with Murdoch/News International or any of his other companies.

With Gray refusing to do a Max Clifford and take a pay-off over the old phone tapping row, I can't really see how any Murdoch owned company could employ him anyway.

How long before Andy Gray gets a slot on TalkShite?

I remember someone saying it.... I thought it was Flash though... :?

But seriously, what a pair of c**ts, they deserve to be on this cow pat of a radio station... and also bad news for all the hair removal cream companies out there... if you have shares... sell... :?
Flash did back me up on this one, yeah...
Never use the words... Flash... back... up..... me and yeah in the same sentence...
Bastard

Well predicted Skipper :barscarf:

you're right about utv ownership, etc. the kelvin mckenzie link is probably the reason many often assume/suspect a murdoch connection

I always assumed there was a connection with sky by the way they always seem to quote sky sources and refer to "our colleagues at sky". :?

the shameless and loose use of the word "colleagues" is a most likely a name-dropping exercise intended to present talkshite as a leading player in the media/sports world (as opposed to small-time, gossip-intensive pile of verbal diarrhoea that it is 90% of the time). also probably means the radio presenter "knows" one of the numerous sky presenters.....not particularly impressive considering how many there are!!

talkshite is an investment to utv and are gambling on bigger name presenters increasing their plaything's income in an already declining advertising/revenue-generating market. that's why they've hired wrighty, townsend, brand, gallagher, etc in the past and why also why most leave sharpish if they have any real talent

.......they're also watching sky while doing their shows and that's why they "quote sky" the minute they hear any breaking news
