Channel 4 reported earlier that it was believed Gadaffi had flown out of the country, suspected to be in Malta.

And has ordered Air Strikes on the protestors.

An EVIL EVIL Bastard.

Anyone see Gaddafi's televised speech at midnight?

All of about 20 seconds long, sitting leaning out of a "Popemobile" with the door open, under an umbrella, saying he was in Tripoli not Venezuela.

His "Steve McLaren moment?"

With all these middle east countires going down like flies makes you wonder who will take over!!! Sometimes its better the devil you know and all that. Might end up with a Taliban style government in one of these and then it makes the world all the more unstable :?

Look at the state of our country and look at the current state of the middle east, what do they have in common...Tony Blair. After bailing out before the shit hit the fan in the UK, he has done the same in the middle east. Worked with UN as a peace envoy bailed out before shit has hit the fan. The guy is

Blair was appointed Middle East peace envoy but his focus is on Israel-Arab ties.
To be fair to him, he has done some good work there, and built up the start of a workable Palestinian economy in the West Bank, particulary Ramallah, which has contributed to less fighting in the past year.
