cesc was obviously rushed back tonight, poor game really.

just gonna throw it out there -

but something that really gets on my last nerve is the lack of '*word censored*' in our team. here me out, i'm sort of on about leadership but more so someone who really will be stand up and counted for the other 10, letting no one take the piss or take liberties. jack comes close. also rvp. the chavs have it with terry, newcastle with barton, parker with west ham, shrek for utd, gerrard for lpool, de jong at city, catermole at sunderland, and so on. i know its easy to say but, look at keown after van horse missed that pen a few years back, and look at kos getting a slap on the head from a two bob brum *word censored* - you just wouldn't stand for it if that was your team mate. i'm not even calling for your typical english player who makes up for his lack of pure football talent with 'steel', it'd just be nice to have a player who assures the opposition they can't and won't be able to take the piss and the hands out sly retribution. not some ponce in colourful boots, a scarf and gloves.

not explained very well but you get my drift. :banghead: if i played against arsenal i'd walk around like a owned the place, cheating here, cheating there, grabbing him, clipping his mate, cos' none of them would do anything about it anyway.

Peeman wrote:He wasn't 100%. Maybe he wanted to play there coz he knows he's staying with us next year :D and might never get another chance to play there. One bad game against best team in world doesn't make the man shite overnight - he's still our best player - I don't think he's a great captain tho.
The one thing that struck me as I got the bus back from the pub tonight was the following:

Was tonight Cesc's Henry moment from the 2006 Champions League Final? Henry was all set to join Barca that Summer. Just remember that Henry similarly blew a number of chances to win us the game. He also witnessed Barca's cheating and gamesmanship. Something tells me that Cesc will see tonight in two ways - 1) He has robbed the Arsenal fans of their chance to progress, and he needs to correct this. 2) Does he want to join a bunch of cheats?

Just a thought.

Why is he saying the same thing on his own twitter then?

I tell you what, I've been patient with you, but right now I'd love to rip your arms from their sockets, and beat you with them. You use the word WUM too liberally. All you do is wind me up,

Wow. That is beyond shocking.

I'm sure someone will try to defend it though.

Photo means nothing, has mouth open but you think he wanted to lose? Could be a smile of resignation too. He knows as well as any "realist" on this Forum that the squad has shortcomings.

He was not fit, he wants to leave, but he wants to win if he is in the team.

Well said QG.Cesc has carried this butch of tossers for the last 5 years. Its not his fault that our fucking twat of a manager wont bring in any quality and gives long term contracts to *word censored* like Diaby Denilson Rosicky and Bendtner.Where was Nasri tonight? We will see how great a player Cesc was when we dont have him next season
