The problem is that if by the time the Liverpool game comes around we've strung a few decent results together people won't be interested any more.
If you can manage to get just one block to empty, and for example, leave a banner in place, it'll get picked up on. The problem is that the like minded people aren't all together. You've got rosetinters & realists all in the same block.
Ajax supporters did something similar a few months ago in protest at price hikes. It's a lot easier for them though as they have their own section in the ground...

Yeah, I'm up for it.topgoon wrote:The Liverpool game is the one and I'm up for doing it.n6gooner wrote:like industrial action, success hinges on being taken seriously by the threat or taking of action. that means being seen to make sacrifices and systematically increasing the stakes until they listen
staying away from or a mass walk-out of a high profile match is message the board, aw and the players would sit up and take notice of. the press would have a "field day"
more importantly, a silent-protest (which is what it would be) would have them begging to listen to our opinions. at the moment they're not interested in fans' opinions
10 minutes after kick off regardless of what is happening on the pitch. We walk out.
The players...most of them should be in no doubt we do not blame them.
It's a big game on TV, it's a Sunday afternoon, we will have the undivided attention of the football world.
The scousers know what it's like to have a board screwing the the fans so I'm sure their will be cross solidarity.
So the Liverpool game anyone else up for doing this

You'll never get a walkout from me I'm afraid guys. At the end of the day I'm as pissed as you lot are but no matter what happens we have to support the team. By all means yes lets get the chants and the banners going or the protests outside or whatever, but at the end of the day I'll still be there cheering the team on when the whistle goes.

We've got a month to whip up the right amount of support. We have to try something or it'll just get worse. Out of small acorns and all that.Dan_85 wrote:The problem is that if by the time the Liverpool game comes around we've strung a few decent results together people won't be interested any more.

second protest, 5 mins before the end of the 1st half, etc. (also, with momentum others would join the demo if they feel it's organised and not just random
