Yeah my guess is Usmanov getting invited onto the Board - maybe.
Don't normally post stuff like this (as you tend to get slaughtered for BS) but my cousin was talking to David Dein a an airport last weekend and was moaning to him about how we need new signings. Dein tapped his nose as though to say watch this space.

Dein then left with Usmanov when the lardarse arrived.

Maybe relevant - who knows? Right you lot, unload your vitriol on me now!
Now you've got me excited.

Hope this won't end in disappointment!

Bracewell's 15% was worth £128 mill, so Usmanov would have shell out roughly £600 mill, that right or have i completely misunderstood?

You have no idea how excited I am right now, I'm still cautious over it all though. :/

Possible - especially if his health is as serious as feared.

Of couse that means it could also just be announcing Mr. Fiszman's retirement/resignation from the Board with no new replacement imminent...

Just pure fear.

I don't like you but I'll reply

No you're cool. I have been trying to think about an answer.

The question is how much control does he want. With 50.1% percent really he can effective be in control and set the agenda, including if he wishes to put his own money into the team, or bring David Dein back into the fold. To get to 50.1% control would be about 200 million so if he wanted full ownership it would be 700-750 million I think.

Looking at that I wonder if he isn't just going to take the seast and stay at just under 30% for now...

Did Wenger mention something about this at the weekend?

I was that depressed, it's all a blur, but something along the lines of, "There are things happening that I can't even discuss..."

My view on that, is that Wenger didn't look too happy (may have been down to the result) and that to me, would mean that Dein isn't involved in the future of the club.

Apparently Aliadiere has hinted he has resigned?

Interesting rich - maybe some kind of you can have a seat on the Board/buy my shares but only if you don't let David Dein back in the Board Room Deal to save face for the current Board.

But that wouldn't stop Mr. Usmanov from implementing policies recommended by Mr. Dein or Mr. Wenger from offering terms recommended by Mr. Dein, and probably could in matter of months be ignored altogether.

Seems to me if Mr. Usmanov is welcomed aboard so will David Dein even if he has to remain in the ship's bowels until the captain disembarks
