New Kit, Any Pics?

As for the shirt pictured here, Why the laurel leaves? They look stupid, why no club motto? and why no actual wording of 125 years.?
Read somewhere recently that the 1970s/80s style cannon would be used on the 125 year shirts.
Not convinced if this is a real shirt but it does have '125 anniversary' written on it.

I really hope not, the white outlines are very tacky. 'FORWARD' erm what happened to victoria concordia crescit?

Only thing going for it is that its red with white sleeves.

Just had a look I think you may be right, the only part of the 'VEN' I can see is the N, the rest is too unclear for my eyes.

Guaranteed fake kit as the site suggests. Look at the shitty job on the crest; the real kits are stitched symmetrically with great precision. Plus the submitter's name is ethnic to a region known for a great deal of counterfit goods :P I suppose it could be the actual design though.

It won't be this one. Nike doesn't use silkscreened crests, they always use embroidered (stitched) ones. Also not even this club is stupid enough to put "forward" as a crest motto. (I hope)

I saw the away kit on friday when nike were doing some promo shots.

Its dark blue body with light blue sleeves.

The crest with the leaves is correct, my thinking was that it might be oak leaves as in the 'royal oak' pub in Woolwich?

The use of the word 'forward' should not be surprising as it was used by the club back in the 1930's and in fact precedes VCC as a motto.

I was 'moved on' before getting to see the new home kit. However the nice lady from Nike said it did have white sleeves.

I think the first Woolwich Arsenal crest had three upright canon barrels surrounded by laurel leaves. Perhaps the leaves are an echo of that given the 125 anniversary.

Ahhhhhh that's it. So it's not a cynical marketing ploy after all! Thank God for that.

I know what the replys will be but why not keep this seasons home kit the finest we can ever expect and put special embroidery on the jersey for the game closest to the 125th Anniversary instead of constantly fleecing the fans.
