As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Difficuilt one to call this....although last nights result for Liverpool would suggest they are going to be a bit of a handful, having watched them in their previous few games i'm not so sure they will be..
I think we will dominate possession and they will be left to hit us on the break and from set pieces, i can't see them not scoring from one or the other, but i think we'll score more 2-1 or 3-1 to us....
Agree with the view that Carroll and Suarez will cause problems especially if Djourou isn't back..but again this is Liverpool and their revival under Dalglish is hyped by the media and the deluded Liverpool fans who for years believe they are better than they are. True Liverpool got great results against the Manchester teams and Chelsea, but they were also outplayed and beaten by three relegation threatened teams..so we may get something in between ..1-1 draw.
Hopeful about this, a win against a big side (I didn't say a good side!) could be the kickstart we need. Certainly can't see us going on to win at the Lane without some kinda positive result from this game.
Am going, and looking forward to it. I remember Liverpool at home last year, we played terribly, but won and just about clung on in the title race.
Then, we lost at the Lane and the season was over.
Scezceny and Djourou are back in training, both will play I reckon, that will be us at pretty much full strength, we will win, I can't see them throwing the match but they won't want to hand United their record breaking title.
They won't park the bus and will make the game open which everyone knows suits us, its down to us then.
Remember last year when Gerrard set Drogba up at Anfield to score?
