Lap of "appreciation"

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

still spose ur one of those mongos who clapped them off today. just shows our away support may be vocal but most are a bunch of retards who dont actually give a shit about whats in the best interests of afc, rather arsene and his boys. if they did they wouldnt appluad the shite they see every other week.

its sickening the positve reaction that was given today by 90% of the away support, based on reports.
Playing mantis, even if on the form, I totally agree with you, I'm not sure calling fellow gooners "mongs" will make them adhere to your opinion...
I can't afford t go to matches, but I don't see how turning on fans who spend thousands following a club they love is going to solve anything.
If they are willing to put up that level of financial commitment to that team, they can clap, boo, hiss, spit for all I care they deserve it.

Arsenal's away support has been fantastic this season in the majority even when we have been playing some of the most dire football in years and those fans should be applauded.

If you are unhappy fine, but take it out on those who are to blame, not those who aren't
Richpye, yes, with that level of financial commitment, fellow fans have the right to express themselves in the way they want, and I'm not the kind of person to judge them.

However there is some truth in the fact that clapping will only bring confidence in the players and the manager that they're doing the right thing.

Marcengels, I think the time for your movement to thrust itself above the rest has come. What better opportunity than the 'lap of shame'? You could go down in history as the fearless leader of the Arsenal fans group that finally got things done. 8)

But how would we get the rancid fruit, and more importantly, the monkey poop into the ground?

In no specific order

Eastern European immigrants
Condoms
Scapel
Rancid Fruit
Thread & Needle
Monkey Poop

Not only do you achieve the aims of the group you are also on your way to a lucrative career in worldwide drug smuggling. 8)

Whilst giving Wenger some stick on 'the lap' we must forget our friend Hill Wood.

After his comments about the stupid commoners otherwise known as fans we sure should give him a bit of stick.

Something along the lines of
'Wenger Wenger sort em out Hill Wood shut ya mouth ' (or even' Hill Wood you're a ****') if you feel that badly about him!!!!

[quote="the playing mantis"]its because there sad, if they have nothing better to do than travel to the one of the shit holes of the country on a fine spring day, for a meaningless fixture, thats says it all really....[/quote

Yes i travel around to shitholes like Stoke, because i support my team even though i am as pissed off as most fans. You sound like a typical glory seeking Jcl,the type of so called fan that infests Football now. :finger: :banghead: I hope people like you dont get tickets for the top games.

fraid to say geoff, that i get a ticket to every game including the top ones, its called having a season ticket, and have for many years, am hardly a JCL, not that i have gone to many this season, having sold a lot of games at the 1st opportunity at as near to face as possible, as i dont want to waste my time watching the EXACT same thing as ive seen for the past 4 seasons, and seeing the exact same problems.

call that glory hunting if you will, but imo its sensible, you dont subject yourself to the same shit 4 years in a row with no prospect of change.

that and the emirates is full of c*nts with no idea of arsenal beyond AW.
