I reckon the klingon will come off the bench to get a late winner in a bloody awful game.

Hope Stoke hammer them. Good club, good fans, and their main "sin" is trying to play to their strengths to try and stay in/ advance in the league
The PL is all set up for the "big 5" (or is it 6 now?), the other clubs have absolutely fuck all compared to them in terms of turnover and have to make do with what they have. Plus, for all Stoke are accused of long ball tactics etc, against Bolton in the semi final they scored a few from outside the area and played some very decent stuff. The whole long ball thing is often used as a stick to beat them with by people who believe what they read and who havent actually seen much of them recently. They're pretty direct, but they are capable of playing some good stuff. They can be a dirty side, but if they need to do that to compete then fair enough- yes the Ramsey incident was dreadful, but on the whole they dont commit many more dangerous fouls than anyone else. I'm sure they'd love to play like Arsenal or Chelsea, but with the revenue they get, and the fact that they cant just say "sign for us we're in London", means that they cant do it. Should they just try and play nice football and get relegated to keep people happy?
Any team playing in a final against one of the corporate Sky brigade will have my full support- non plastic supporters, a passionate side, and a club that I would much rather see win the cup than Man City with their billionaire owner pumping as much money in as he fancies. Regardless of their style of play, a victory for Stoke would be a victory for football.
Some Stoke fans on the internet are bellends like, but on the whole they're a proper club and I hope they turn City over.

Hope Stoke hammer them. Good club, good fans

charming lot ain't they? throwing stones and bottles at supporters club coaches and shouting incomprehensible vile through their sneering little muggy mouths

oh well, every club has dickheads, eh scfc? or in your case, you were gifted more than your fair share

Well, aye, some of their fans are arseholes, but I'd rather have an away trip to Stoke than to a plastic ground full of tourists (and I dont just mean Arsenal- Man United and Chelsea are just the same, as is Liverpool- Man City is probably getting there as well!). There can be the odd bit of bother at Stoke, but nothing major, and at least you get an atmosphere. Thats what I mean by good fans, they arent plastic sky boy types like you find at many other clubs (even if it must be said that they used to have much smaller attendances in the Championship), they're generally normal lads supporting their club. I'd love to have the day out that they are about to, and it will mean to them roughly what it would mean to us, so I hope they enjoy it and win the cupHenry Norris 1913 wrote:Hope Stoke hammer them. Oh....you mean Teveth...okay. Actually Dzeko looks kind of like a Captain Kirk-era alien, depnding on the angle could be Klingon Romulan or Vulcan from the original shownorthbankbren wrote:If I had to chose it would be Citeh, couldnt stand those dirty c**ts managed by that fuck c**t winning a trophy![]()

Still the "big 4" as far as I'm concerned..... Liverpool have had a bit of a resurgence under Dalglish, but remains to be seen whether they can keep that going into next season......safcftm wrote:The PL is all set up for the "big 5" (or is it 6 now?)
And as for Spuds, they will be mid-table next season.....

Stoke .good club..good fans ..them winning cup would be good for football. What planet are you on ? No offence mate but them, their manager and most importantly their fans are all that is wrong in football. Would you boo a kid who had his leg broken by a thug ? Would you defend the thug that done it? Man City are not ggod for football, Im not even convinced they are good for Man City as a club at the moment..but they must win the Cup..And why did Pulis have to stick his nose in the debate about Man U playing a weakend team V Blackpool if they wrap up the league at Blackburn..? "No matter what team Utd put out will be strong " said the brown-nosing *word censored*.

I wouldn't have a bet based on that line of reasoning.scfc64 wrote:Here's two things about why you should have a couple of bob on us this weekend.
1,We should be playing Manchester City this weekend in the league and now we play them in our first F.A. Cup Final ever.
In 1972 we won our first major trophy when we beat Chelsea to win the League Cup. Strange as it may seem,we should of played Chelsea in the league on that day too.
and
2,We have never lost in a one off final, played in 4,won all 4.(play off, league cup,2 autoglass.) I know its only 4 but still, its not bad.
It used to be said that if the year ended with a "1", then Arsenal (or sp*rs
