West Ham rejects

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Parker certainly, I'll wet myself if we get him.
Make him captain.

As for the rest, they arent worth the dirt on my shoe.

We could do better than Parker. But if we don't, I'd take him. I'd be curious to see how he gets on in our midfield. My concern would be however that he wouldn't have the fitness to keep up with our high tempo passing game, especially at 30. But, I can't speak to his athleticism; haven't seen him play often.

I cannot understand all this bollocks about Parker!!!!

He was not good enough for Chelsea or Newcastle and can hardly get a game for England. Why do people think that now he is the wrong side of thirty he is suddenly the player to save our club?????

Granted he has had a decent season or two for West Ham but he is not good enough for our club.

Sod aiming for Schweinsteiger, Sneijder or Ozil - lets go for a West Ham bargin who is too old and not good enough to play for a decent team. That will be progress and well worth paying a grand a season to watch :banghead:

I think the aim is to sign another player in that position to make Song look quicker than he actually is. We'll have "one pace" and "no pace" to choose between then....

Are you living in cloud cuckoo land? Why would any of those players join us?
We wouldnt pay the wages or even bid with AW anyway.

Parker is the best we can hope for. FWA player of the year. We cant do any better.

I did not say that they would join us but maybe we should look for players that can become that good.Either way we are Arsenal and should be looking for the best. FFS sake if we can't aim high then we will end up with any old reject shit that comes our way.
