Online Gooner vs Sunderland Lads

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If a lot of you are going to try and be available for this match, be it playing or just spectating (abusing) etc, may I suggest that we set this as the date/match for a few beers in memory of Steve aka charlie charlie. Hopefully the stone will be in place by then and seeing as a few of the Irish lads will be over seems like a good time.

I think that is an excellent suggestion 8) I know the midget mod played (and I use that term loosely as he was severely hungover and injured as per usual   ) in the last match and he has also expressed a commitment to make it over for the charlie x2 meet up so would be great if both were merged although the mackems game isnt until october so maybe people would prefer to have the charlie meet up early in the season ?

I'd be up for attending the charliex2 meet up if it was on the day of the sunderland game but tbh i actually thought that might be too early in the season- i ordered a stone last august and it was only just getting put into place by around about the time SAFC went to the emirates last season, which must have been about March. If it takes a similar amount of time this time you'd be looking end of 2011 before its in place. Hopefully they do it substantially quicker this time like!

I can't see why the stone cant be ordered this week, I'm pretty sure the wording has been agreed and it's now just a cae of getting it ordered. If I remember correctly, the club said they would be laying them during the close season, so lets hope it can be in place. Cue an update from KingJayson.

The stone will be ordered in the next week or so. And hopefully Percy is going to try and push the club to put speed up the process due to the nature. I'm quite confident it will be in place for the Sunderland game.

Maybe we could all pay a little entry fee to play to go towards the chosen charity?

Is there a hostile takeover bid on the horizon ? Is chunky's position as player manager now gonna be under pressure ? As a player I find all this uncertainty with the managers position very distracting at a time when I need to be focusing on my fitness

Enfield Town have announced that KingJayson has left the club after receiving payment of his release fee, paving the way for the coach to take over at Online Gooner FC.

The North London club, who went were beaten in the league nearly every week last season and picked up no domestic cups as well as the Europa League benefit cheats award, have announced that King Jayson's assistant, SWLGooner, will take charge of the team.

King Jayson tendered his resignation with the side early on Tuesday following reports that Online Gooner FC had been in contact to bring him in as Chunky Gooner's successor. A dispute over his £13.20p release fee has been resolved, allowing the 22-year-old to begin formal talks to take over at Highbury Fields.

It's my birthday as well as it happens.

Well it looks like you've already got enough for a team. I'll canvass our lot and see whether we'll have enough to get 11 out. I'd hope so. That pitch near Leyton Orient was excellent but was a bit far from the ground to leave us ample drinking time. Any other suggestions?

Is Chunky still around?
