When I was a kid it was always Adidas Rom and Converse. Loved them. Went through a Nike Air Hi-Top phase in the 80's (was in a Metal band so it was skin tight jeans and hi-tops all the way :lol: ).

Nowdays either Asics, Adidas, Reebok or Nike... anything really.

Size have reissued the Forest Hills in the original colourway (not the poxy ones you see at JD!), I might get myself a pair!

If you look at the Mertesacker video on the Arsenal player he's wearing adidas L.A. Trainer and they seem OG!

I only wear trainers when at the gym or playing indoor, otherwise never wear them, always think they look scruffy.
I have one pair and don't even know what brand they are.

They were a big part of terrace culture and still are to a certain extent! But each to their own!
