Refund for away fans

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Legally, you're the owner of the ticket, and thus entitled to any benefits (i.e. the refund).

So don't take any shit from whomever you bought it off.

So will they just not deduct the money from away scheme members accounts for whichever fixture the free tickets apply to or refund the United money?

I don't go to away games anymore, but I was at Old Trafford in 2001 for the 6-1, and I would never have contemplated a refund. Plus many other piles of shit over the years.

I'm glad if people do get something out of the greedy fuckers at the club, but I just don't get it in general.
Whilst I would never really expect a refund (you pay your money, you take your chance etc), I think the club know deep down that we're all pretty fucked off with how the last 6 months have gone so this is probably an attempt to appease the fans a little. Price hikes, selling the best players, no replacements, having to field a CC squad at OT etc etc.

However humiliating the 6-1 was, it did after all come in the middle of one of our more successful periods & there was nowhere near the amount of venom directed at the club back then as there is now.

I sold in the for sale section and have alreadyt contacted the buyer that any free tickets will be sent out to him.

Really, the club should let you pick the away game (as long as you have the desired credits), rather than say you can have Bolton, Sunderland or another northern trip.

It will be a ticket to whatever game you want, as long as you have the Credits.

Well played for once Arsenal.
No, not really. Travel should be covered too, just like Wigan did. And they force you to go to another game with this deal. How many red members will now need to go to the likes of Blackburn or Bolton to receive their "refund". The CLub know what they are doing. This is just a deal to guarantee future support at other away games.
How would you ever be able to cover travel? Yeah, I flew to manchester by private jet!

  Wow! Me Too!
