I am not a fan of Eboue. I don't like his antics and I don't think he is a particularly good player, but I think there has been some fearful rubbish put on here about his display last night.

I thought he had his best game of the season last night (okay he's had some shockers). I felt that, alongside Bendtner, he was our most effective player last night. The problem last night was Senderos - he really is not good enough and is heading down in to Stepanovs country.

I'd like to see Diarra at right-midfield
but having said that I thought Ebuoue was one of our best players v Seville
cre8d the chance 4our goal, should have been given a penalty
and seville only really cause problems on the other wing
manu is very direct which none of our other midfielders really have

Eboue is a good player but he falls down like a rapist.
A bit like Drogba after all they are both Ivory coast team-mates.

I agree to a certain extent there. As I said, I hate his cheating, diving and theatrics, but I actually rate him as a skilful player. The problem is that he is always looking for the dive first, the bit of skill second. So his antics are actually affecting his performances most games.

And he is now getting a "reputation". Referees will not give 50/50 penalty decisions to him because he is becoming known as a diver/actor, whereas other players will tend to get those 50/50 penalty decisions because their reputation does not precede them.

If Wenger could sort this arsehole's mindset out then I actually think he could develop into a fantastic player. Unfortunately this type of carry on is usually hard-wired into a player's psyche (along with his obvious victim syndrome) and is symptomatic of his personality.

I fear that he will always have this acting/diving side to his game and if he doesn't (or can't) change that then we will never get the best out of him and he will just be an embarrassment to us.

If that's the case then he has got to go.

Sorry for 'over-reacting' but I just hate it when Arsenal fans slag off Arsenal players.

It drives me insane!

The anti-Eboue crowd often have to say "He was diving and he was crap, except for the touch that led to the goal". Although I think going after him for his exaggerated rolling around etc is over the top (since there are plenty of players who cheat), I understand the objections and would like to see him stop it. But when I see Eboue playing a crcuial role in the build-up to both our goals yesterday and have a couple of very decent efforts on goal himself, I don't how see how he can be called crap. His performances are not perfect (he gives possession away too often for my liking) but he's on the same level as various other players.

credit where its due,, and eboue played well enough on sat and did hav a hand in both goals and wasnt it great to see no diving,, and as for the anti-eboue crowd,,
well he will never be a favorite player for me as i dont think he's good enough as a full back or a winger,,
what people dont like is the way he dives, now i know we hav had divers in the past,, but with eboue its holding the throat, jumping back up straigh away and moaning to the ref,,
he's the one player that other fans can hold against our great football..
we can slag ronaldo or drogba etc but eboue is worse then them

I'm surprised noone has mentioned his elbowing one of the Villa players. He was dead lucky not to get sent off.

"Luckily" everybody was looking at the dreadful tackle on Alex.

If le Boss is determined to play him  how about swapping with Sagna  his crossing is great

in fairness to eboue the guy was barely touched, bouma i think,, he went down like eboue would normally,,
and if i was a villa fan then i would be upset at one of my players doing that
