When should the banner be unfurled

I'm thinking Chelsea away, lads.

AFC have told me the banner will be confiscated at the gate, or if I attempt to display it, despite it being completely fire-proof, legally checked, all papers in order, and having nothing offensive on it. It willl only however be confiscated for the duration of the game.

I am also going on my own to SAFC and others have dropped out, so I think we will keep the media pressure on, take it to Chelsea, Norwich, and maybe West Brom or Fulham.

Problem is getting it in.
Finding others to replace those that dropped out.
Finding the right moment to unveil it
Getting a picture quickly and or also one taken by the media.
Repeat week in week out but with more banners!

Doesn't even have to be CL, if people in the UT can find an empty first row communicate and move the banner there for the second half.

The media are expecting it for sunderland. And if in its place we see lady fatarse's flag first, it'll overshadow it big time.

wrap it around your body under a coat to get it in.

dont let the akb steal your thunder.

You show it, they take it, you get it back....and repeat next game.

Trust me, with the media already looking for it, they'll have cameras waiting for it. And quite frankly it getting confiscated by the stewards will make for a much bigger story for the press. And a pr disaster for the club imo.

I am taking it to the game anyway as I need to hand it over to one of the lads.

I'm not worried about trouble in CL, just how it would look if it's just me doing it. Doesn't look great does it :?

Fucking nazis, they're honestly a despicable bunch. Did they give you a reason as to why it would be confiscated. I'm pretty certain that, considering you met all the safety requirements, what they're doing is not even legal.

Absolute *word censored*.

Absolute c**ts.
Thank you for your further communication regarding displaying banners at Emirates Stadium and for attaching a picture for me.

While recognising your right to express your opinion, we cannot allow this banner to be displayed at Emirates Stadium. As a Club we fully support our manager and so this is not appropriate for display. I must inform you that if you were to bring this to the Stadium, it would be confiscated by our stewards for the duration of the game.

Fucking load of bollocks. *word censored*.

Agree with this. If they take it off you, it can be blown up into a much bigger thing. PR disaster for the club.

My worry is not trouble, it is how it will look having one person holding it up....

Just email them back saying you're seeking legal advice & notifying the press. They'll shit themselves.

That's not a bad idea... Although on what grounds could they do me? I have already sought legal advice.

Alternatively, can anyone knock up a copy (or several) with a bed sheet & some paint?! Keep it quiet, wrap it round your body under a sweatshirt to get it into the ground...

Be polite, here's what you say;

Thank you for your email. Considering my banner meets all specified safety requirements & contains no offensive, sexist or racist language, I am seeking legal advice from the Football Supporters Federation & the sports media on this issue. I believe you have no legal grounds to prevent me voicing an opinion.

It would be great - and really, really funny - if a lot of these banners of various sizes were made up. The big one would go on display first and the minute the stewards scrabbled over to take it down, another one would pop up in a different part of the ground! 8) Imagine that happening a dozen or more times and the sight of the oranges coats running around the stadium with puffed out cheeks due to chasing their own arse!!
