Indeed, all the English teams do seem to be making hard work of it this year.

I want ox playing . the myopic one needs to give him game time, his positivety would give us a massive boost, him, gervinho and walcott would be a lightning attack

It's worth mentioning that Dortmund NEED the win. A draw leaves them relying on other results and that's very slim. They could well be out tonight if they don't get the win.

So they'll be going for it which means it could be quite an open game.

This year's CL campaign has shown that there are plenty of good sides across Europe and none of the English clubs are having an easy time.

Dortmund won 1-0 against Bayern and Goetze scored and I think it'll be a tough match for us. As suggested above it should be an open match and I think the first goal will be very important. Hopefully we'll get it and then we can hit them on the break.

On the up side we can get a sneak preview of Goetze before he joins us in January.

I know there a tough team and so I'm not taking tonight lightly. However, if (and it's a big if) we manage to get an early lead it will be an uphill struggle for Dortmund.
2-0 and I believe heads will drop and it may then be a case of shutting up shop/damage limitation.

That's not get above ourselves as defeat is quite conceivable. Need to be on our game tonight.

this will be tough tonight.

here is a possible scenario.
if it is 0-0 with 10 minutes to go. Do we try and hold out for a draw to qualify or go all out for a win to see us win the group, knowing that if we get caught on the counter attack we could lose and then need to win in Greece ?

I think we should play it very tight tonight and make sure of qualification.
then with the pressure off the reserves will probably win in Greece anyway

The Arsenal do NOT play for draws. When have you ever seen us play that way? Never, our style of play is always to attack , that is what we will do tonight, and as before we may come a croppa, but that's the way we play.
Everyone knows that ?!?!
