its ok Bangkok hopefully will be calling myself "silver member" soonBangkokgooner wrote:Why?
Sorry for my poor joke.
Red member in my context is referred to a forum member. Saying I'm him is an insult.
I have been on the waiting list 7 years

My apologies....I can't count. You can't expect though to come before season tickets , away fans , silver members....???Red Member wrote:it is actually 4 but yes why not?Macca wrote:SO, maximum CC games you could attend is THREE games. Paying £10 a game and you want a potential final ticket for that ??!!
I was most annoyed not to get one this year.
No need for the apology Bangkokgooner. It wasn't a poor joke at all because I got it straight away!!Bangkokgooner wrote:Why?

i as a red member have got in the lower for every singla game this year apart from 2,1 being liverpool cos i took a friend who had not been before and couldnt get 2 together and the sinderland match cos i left it very late to book, looks like i might be struggling to get one for QPR on NYE aswell because i have left it lateterry henry wrote:I know plenty of reds who get in the lower tier no problem. As long as its not a Cat A game, you are quick and don't want more than 2 tickets together they say its fine. Also I'd imagine this season is easier than ever what with the economy and the fact the club has won fuck all in 6 years.Batflyer wrote:If you have been in the lower tier with a red member ticket, I guess you are lucky. As far as I know it's very difficult for red members to get tickets for the lower tier.Red Member wrote:I am aware of that but the Leeds fans appear to have taken away red member seats in the lower tier clock end where I usually go.
agreed, i am a red memeber and although i am on the ST waiting list it doesnt bother me as i can get tickets to any game i want at home, Barca last season being the only exception to date and any away games i get off people who cant go, well worth 3 quid a month roughlyno. 1 is Perry Groves.... wrote:why - your level of membership has nothing to your commitment/support to the club.Bangkokgooner wrote:Man, I hate when people asking me which member level are you in?
And I have to say I'm a red member.
Hate that, absolutely hate that.
The ability to attend home or away games is dependant on a number of things: location disposable income, family commitments, work etc etc all which dicate what membership you have.
I presume (by virtue of the fact that you are on this forum) that you are an arsenal fan and thats plenty good enough for me.
i agree with this, last year i attended every carling cup match home and away then they got to the final and i couldnt get a ticket due to the fact all the fans that arent bothered about winning the carling cup suddenly wanted to go,Red Member wrote:ElliotGooner wrote:At the Supporters Forum meeting with Gazidis on Saturday morning prior to the Everton fixture this question was asked of him to which he replied along the lines of the 19 League fixtures plus 6 additional Cat B/Cat A fixtures provide a guaranteed source of income to which they are able to charge cheaper ticket prices for the CC. I believe that reduced attendances at full price in FA fixtures e.g. 50,000 for Leeds would mean full price having to be charged in CC.
However, the Club are looking at a Home Credit system to reward fans who actually turn up to these fixtures.[/quote]
This is a good idea.
Does that mean those of us that attend every CC home match are in with a chance of going to the final?
i actually agree with Red Member (1st time ever and prob lastRed Member wrote:it is actually 4 but yes why not?Macca wrote:SO, maximum CC games you could attend is THREE games. Paying £10 a game and you want a potential final ticket for that ??!!

we got knocked out so we wont get oneRed Member wrote:I'm not expecting to get an FA Cup final or CL final ticket as they are covered by the Season Ticket.
However as far as I am aware the ST has nothing to do with the Carling Cup so why are ST holders entitled to a ticket for the final?
