Leeds FA Cup Match

SO, maximum CC games you could attend is THREE games. Paying £10 a game and you want a potential final ticket for that ??!!

Thinking a red member deserves cup final tickets over season ticket holders who pay at least £980 a season. :banghead:

My apologies....I can't count. You can't expect though to come before season tickets , away fans , silver members....???

I'm not expecting to get an FA Cup final or CL final ticket as they are covered by the Season Ticket.

However as far as I am aware the ST has nothing to do with the Carling Cup so why are ST holders entitled to a ticket for the final?

If you have been in the lower tier with a red member ticket, I guess you are lucky. As far as I know it's very difficult for red members to get tickets for the lower tier.
I know plenty of reds who get in the lower tier no problem. As long as its not a Cat A game, you are quick and don't want more than 2 tickets together they say its fine. Also I'd imagine this season is easier than ever what with the economy and the fact the club has won fuck all in 6 years.
i as a red member have got in the lower for every singla game this year apart from 2,1 being liverpool cos i took a friend who had not been before and couldnt get 2 together and the sinderland match cos i left it very late to book, looks like i might be struggling to get one for QPR on NYE aswell because i have left it late

And I have to say I'm a red member.

Hate that, absolutely hate that. :banghead:
why - your level of membership has nothing to your commitment/support to the club.

The ability to attend home or away games is dependant on a number of things: location disposable income, family commitments, work etc etc all which dicate what membership you have.

I presume (by virtue of the fact that you are on this forum) that you are an arsenal fan and thats plenty good enough for me.
agreed, i am a red memeber and although i am on the ST waiting list it doesnt bother me as i can get tickets to any game i want at home, Barca last season being the only exception to date and any away games i get off people who cant go, well worth 3 quid a month roughly

I believe that reduced attendances at full price in FA fixtures e.g. 50,000 for Leeds would mean full price having to be charged in CC.

However, the Club are looking at a Home Credit system to reward fans who actually turn up to these fixtures.[/quote]

This is a good idea.
Does that mean those of us that attend every CC home match are in with a chance of going to the final?
i agree with this, last year i attended every carling cup match home and away then they got to the final and i couldnt get a ticket due to the fact all the fans that arent bothered about winning the carling cup suddenly wanted to go, :(

on the other hand i think a points system would be better in future if they gave u points for other things like

1 point for home games
2 points for carling cup games etc
3 points for away games, something along those lines,

might actually get some regular fans in for the carling cup then rather than tourists who just wanna pay £10 to visit the ground

i actually agree with Red Member (1st time ever and prob last  )

i was dissapointed to not get a final ticket last year or even offered one due to the fact i went evey league cup match and lots of fans dont bother with it then just go the final, the fact that it is only £10 a ticket is irrelevent cos i go to every game home and away in this country anyway so its not to do with cost, just think we should get rewarded for going to the cup games in the 1st place when other arent bothered.

I was actually more disappointed at missing out on Barcelona tickets than the Birmingham match but I accepted that because CL games are part of your season ticket. Carling Cup games ARE NOT, that is the point.

I got a CC final ticket through my season ticket due to the fact I had enough away points. I went to the Spurs away and Ipswich at home in the CC last season, so missed 2 aways and a home.
I guess there could be an argument for a scheme regards CC final tickets but seeing as it's home time in 10 minutes I can't put any more thought into it.
