Has Wenger lost the dressing room?

of course he hasn't lost the dressing, players and ex players alike love Wenger

the sad fact, is the the current squad - is very average and most of them would struggle to get in to a middle table PL side

no disrespect to Swansea, but in the invincibles day, we would of gone there and put 5 past them, now we go there and get out played and out scored

the current squad is woeful

What I love, is that the invincibles seem to be getting better with every year that passes. 8)

In a hundred years, they'll be a team of mythical Gods who defeated Satan and sent Mars and Zeus running with their tails between their legs.

Point being, I know the invincibles were good (very good, in fact) but they didn't sweep all before them... there was the odd draw (or 12) in there as well.

For instance, we drew at home against Pompey, Fuham and Birmingham... and away against Charlton, Bolton and Leicester, so I'm not sure we would have put 5 past Swansea. We might of done, but God forbid... our immortal warriors may have drawn

There seems to be widely varying opinions of what constitutes 'losing the dressing room'.

From most of what I see and hear I suspect most players like and respect AW (and not just because they're rich), but I wonder whether they still believe in him.
He has looked forlorn for much of the season and it's impossible to be confident in somebody who isn't confident in themselves.
Shit results add to the disillusionment and when the RvPs look around at the shit they're playing with they must lose the will to live.

Wenger lost the dressing room the moment the final whistle blew at wembley in the carling cup final defeat. That's why he moved half the squad out in the summer.

He hasn't lost this dressing room yet, he's lost the fans and by the look of it, the media support. As Gazides said, the manager is judged by the supporters. Well Ivan, the supporters have spoken, now it's down to you to do the necessary! Will he deliver?

I'd imagine that he still has the players on his side, but, it seems that the players themselves know that they won't win anything. Wenger can't inspire them anymore and it is his doing by spouting all this shit about Man City and money. He has basically given a public message to his team that they won't win anything regardless of what they do, therefore, they don't believe in themselves. This has been clear for the last four years, a bit of belief and a bit of bottle would have won them a league title and a cup.

Wenger hasn't lost the dressing room, only last week he was down at my local pool offering to dry the youngsters backs with a towel.

Having attended the last home match, I can confirm that you're right. He's still fucking worshipped at the Bowl. A turgid, dire 1-0 bore against Leeds and yet an Henry goal has the "one Arsene Wenger" song coming out of the window-lickers corner

I have no scientific proof, but I reckon up to 5,000 long term season ticket holders have either given them up or rented them out in the last two seasons.
Ever increasing gaps in the home crowd.

Renting it out is as good as keeping it and doesn't make an iota of difference to the club. The only chance we as fans have of making them sit up and take notice is to give it up entirely.
