Mario saga

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There is going to be an influx of top quality German players coming to the Grove and this is primarily down to the fact that Wenger has exhausted the French market and is looking at the Bundesliga.
Signing Per Mertesacker was just the beginning, our BFG has been telling all and sundry in Germany how great a club Arsenal are and many young talents are eyeing up moves to the club.

Mertesacker is the first of many Germans to arrive, with Podolski being added to Eisfeld, you will see a clinical and efficient machine developing, and Goetze will be the crown jewel.
Hey Sammy,
ready for another bet  ?!
Mario will not leave the club 8) !
Cheers, Thomas
He will :box:
He has signed until 2016

You'll need a lot of money now if you want him

I suggest that we wait until sammy gets a chance to respond before locking this thread - not sure what difference it will make cos clearly his mate fed him a line of bullshit but he still should be allowed his speak before we lock the thread, ban him from the forum and send an assasin to his house to silence him for good 8)

Doesn't mean a thing - Dortmund protecting themselves. Fabregas.

Well, of course that does mean that any club who wants him now has to put more money on table.
BEFORE the signing of the new contract http://www.bvb.de/?%87%ECY%1B%E7%F4%9C%5Eh%EF%8D%98 Götze was rated by FutebolFinance second most valuable youth player http://www.futebolfinance.com/os-30-jog ... mundo-2012

With:
1. The new contract
2. Chance to win the second German title
3. Chance to win the German FA cup
4. Euro 2012 for Germany

I don't think that he will be a bargain like Podolski
I should go for another bet...anybody ready?

The list rates Eriksen 13-20m.. says it all

@topic: I think you'd have to pay ~50m to buy Götze now. No problem for Arsene

Interesting (i.e. hilarious) list of top 30 young players. Henderson at 14 and Rodwell at 11 (I was at number 31).
However, we've got more players on the list than any other club.

Don't lock this thread. Just give it its proper name (i.e. 'Sammy's mate successfully winds up Sammy AGAIN' thread.
