QPR match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This will definitely be a game of two halves unless of course it gets abandoned in the first half, then it will only be a game of one half making it a whole, unless of course the match gets replayed at some other date in which case it could actually become a game of three halves, thats what I reckon :barscarf:

and to think I am the one that usually gets called a WUM :D

I will be more than happy to take a scrappy 1-0 or 2-1 win from this one.
I wouldn't predict that against any other team, I just think QPR are one of the worst Prem teams defensively in a long time!

Have a feeling that Ramsey will be back in the starting 11, taking gervinho's spot back. Hopefully I'm wrong and Ox gets it

How many guys did qpr sign this past summer? It was 8-10, right? There is no way they can stay up though, their schedule seems way too tough. Hey, that mean we'll get Taarabt even cheaper this summer

They have that shit head Traore at left back. Stick the Ox on his side and we're guaranteed to have a lot of joy down the right flank.

Live on Setanta Ireland for all us Irish Gooners. Has to be worst coverage possible. They have an ability to make the best games dull. Lou Macari (" this Fabregas isn't a great player"...Birmingham away 2006) is my particular favourite. Tough game but must be hopefulll now. They are a poor team that look destined for a quick return to Championship. Their highlight of the season was beating the Victims in The Money Wasters Derby.
Going for a 2-0...

C,mon Arsenal. We need the 3 points, and preferably more goals to increase the GD as well! :barscarf:

Do you think the away screening for this is worth it?

If you're going to go over to the manor, you might as well watch it at the Gunners mate, will be a better atmosphere.

Zamora is always an awkward customer for us as proven again at the Cottage in January - personally I think the guy gets away with murder, so it will important to have our strongest CB partnership facing him.

I agree with the comments about their defence though - they are utter crap - and unlike at the Emirates where they could afford to defend for 90 minutes, they will have to try and attack us more.

3-1 to us I think

Never been to Loftus Rod, so quite looking forward to it. Should be an easy one for us in theory, but it may end up being a nervy affair. QPR may feel like they have nothing to lose and will go flat out to please the home crowd.

Hopefully though we'll still tear 'em apart. :barscarf:
