City match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There's no time to be waste for Wenger to figure out he needs to start the Ox over Ram. We NEED this win. If the Ox starts with Ram on the bench, then I have every confidence that we'll walk away with 3 points! C'mon Wenger, wake up please!

We've got more chance of winning the League than we have Wenger starting the Ox against City. Its painfully obvious that it will either be The People's Champion or Lightbulb Head. The Ox might get 5 minutes to come on and try to grab us a match saving hat-trick if we're lucky

I think they will want this more then us, and subsequently beat us. All we have to play for is the "Fourth Place Cup".

1-2 City

Unfortunately, that is the sad truth, and really tells the tale of this season.

my guess would be a draw, v scared of Tevez.

As has been pointed out we've not been great v Citeh for some time
Even when we won v 10 at Middle Eastlands they were on top for long periods of the game

Fingers crossed SuperNikBendtner can kill 5per2 the day before and Na$ri can get himself a straight red

Will be cheering on Chelski v Benfica - if they have Barca (or Meeelan) either side of their game with us, as well as the Cup semi (extra time please) the weekend before, they will have to rotate to some extent

this is massive game for both teams. city will go into it 8pts behind utd, and we could be 3pts behind the spuds. and with chelsea prob only 2 points behind us. im thinking/hoping the pressure on city will be greater and we can take advantage. weve seen recently city appear to be cracking under the pressure hope it continues and this isnt the game they get back on track.

they cant play for a draw like last season thats for sure.

Neither us nor city can afford to play for a draw here. I just hope we are the more composed team and come out strong like we did against Milan, as long as we don't wear ourselves out and allow them to come from behind.

This win could decide the 1,2,3 spots. A win sure would be sweet. There is nothing I would love to see more at this point in the season than to have the PL title taken away from Nasri and Clichy. If this wins seals 3rd for us, then it'd be even sweeter. :barscarf:

Why clichy? Although I also don't want Citeh to win it. I've grown used to utd being champions, it doesn't even bother me anymore, and I know it annoys the mousers.

i've had enough of ramsey, he slows play down and looks so low on confidence , gervinho might be useless at getting a shot off but at least he beats people . I'd have the Ox, Rosicky and Arteta in our midfield , and maybe give a start to Santos too.
