As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
my first reaction was to say Bayern like everyone else on here (apart from Jack )
however I was speaking to a long standing Arsenal fan and he gave me a good reason why he wants Chelsea to win.
His argument was that if Chelsea were to win Spurs would most likely lose all their best players by missing out on the CL and they were unlikely be a problem once again for a few years to come. If Chelsea were to lose we all know they are going to be a threat still as they will go out and spend big whether they are in the CL or not.
it is not a view I share as I hate Chelsea almost as much as Spurs but it is a view that some gooners do take.
Good post and a fair point, mate.
I'll be supporting Bayern for sure, but I agree with your mate... missing out on the CL might knock Sp*rs back a bit.
As I said on the match thread, I still want Chelsea to lose but at least now there is a silver lining if they win and I might actually be able to enjoy the game.

Clearly Chelsea has to win it...
Hate Munich and would be great to see them the second year going off with no trophy what so ever...
Also, they have made such a big thing 'final at home' out of the CL cup, so would be great to see them loosing that like in 99 when they have lost it in the last two minutes to ManUtd in Barcelona...
I understand that we also don't like Chelsea...but if I have to choose it would be them to win it!

I'm not actually going to watch it because whatever happens either Spurs or Chelsea will be celebrating on Saturday night. And even if Chelsea lose they have still won the FA Cup. So it is not a win win situation as someone suggested but a lose lose situation. I will be pleased when next Saturday is over to be honest.
There are 4 very strange people out there who seemingly want Chelsea to become the first London team to win the Champions League
I don't even feel it should be necessary to explain why that would be a fucking nightmare. A season where City win the League and Chavs win the CL - yeah great that would be

There is a massive difference between the Spuds fans celebrating reaching the qualifying stage of the CL and the Chavs actually winning the biggest prize in European football and being the first London club to win it.Its not as if the Spuds havent got in the CL before
Amazed that not every Gooner wants Arsenal to be the first London team to win the big one(i know you have to have a good imagination )
I think the celebrations for Chelsea winning the European cup might just be a little louder and LONGER than Spurs getting into the european cup competition.
They will never let us forget it if they win until we do it ourselves. So say 10+ years of stick.
Like someone said its a win win situation whatever the result. I cant believe that a London team hasnt won it ever, but hey ho, and Ill probably get slated for saying this but fair play to chelski if they do it before us as We've had 15 seasons in a row to do it and have just 1 final to show for it, and that stat dosent look like changing anytime soon.
