Great signing. Almost Piresesque in quality. Where will RVP play? Podolski on the the left, Giroud through the middle, chamberlain/ theo on the right. Carzola, Arteta and Song? I guess RVP will be used as a left back.

It might be the case that Walcott and Song are not here and you have to remember that Giroud and RVP will pick up injuries so there is plenty of room for RVP. In fact without him we dont have another striker. Well Chamakh so as I said we dont have another striker.

Great player but his exit was anything but classy.

Hopefully Cazorla fills that gap as he has been missed.

From shit like Gervinho to genuine class like Santi Cazorla in one year, the penny seems to not only have dropped but been dropped from the Eiffel Tower onto Mr Wenger's head.

Genuinely two-footed and in the words of Alan Partridge - "sweet feet"

It's a bit like when you break up with your bird after she's cheated on you....you'll be bitter at her for a good while but you remember the incredible BJ's she gave you and how much you enjoyed fucking her brains out, and another fit bird (Cazorla) comes along and voilà, you're over her.

But there's a part of you that still misses her. :(

Personally I'd play

Podolski Giroud Cazorla

Arteta Jack (when fit)
Song (or new DM)

'Cesc said I was going to be very happy here'

Cazorla exclusive
Part one of our interview with the Club's new signing

Get Arsenal Player
By Rob Kelly

Santi Cazorla has revealed that former Gunners Robert Pires and Cesc Fabregas influenced his decision to join Arsenal.

The Spain international has agreed a deal to move to Emirates Stadium from Malaga and is with his new team-mates for their pre-season training camp in Germany.

The 27-year-old is excited about the prospect of playing for Arsenal after being given a series of glowing recommendations about the Club.

“I have spoken to Robert Pires because he played with me at Villarreal,” Cazorla told Arsenal Player. “Obviously he knew about the rumours of me coming here and always encouraged me to sign.

“He told me it was a very good club and I was going to enjoy London, the city and the move.

“The same with Cesc Fabregas. He said this was a big club and that I was going to be very happy here, he said I would adapt easily. And I can feel that.”

I know what you mean. Deep down the guy clearly still cares about the club, and as much as his head was elsewhere for the last season and he didn't turn up in some key games, I never doubted that he considered himself a Gooner (unlike 95% of players that just pass through the club's ranks). Such a pity he wasn't at the club 5-10 years earlier, what he would have added to those sides would have been scary.

btw, wasn't rvp leaving because we weren't matching his *cough cough* "football" ambitions?? :coffeespit:

now seriously, what has he to say about the third top signing of this transfer window? no important player (other than him) wants out, and we've made three good signings so far. will he still stick with the "the club has no ambition" bullshit or will he admit he's a fucking moneybag bastard like any other footballer out there???

c'mon van persie, we're waiting on your decision
