First of all, RvP is a player every top squad 'needs' if he becomes available. They didn't do it for PR (although the fact it allowed them to do a bit of favourable dick-measuring won't have hurt), they did it because the *word censored* is fucking world class.

I would go for Cavani, but he would be way too much to ask, really. Llorente is running down his contract at Bilbao, he's fallen off with the manager and is not even training with the first team. He will be available in january for a decent price. Thing is Juventus will probably fight another battle for him and playing in a team that just won't lose might be more atractive to him, even though their league is shit.

The villa deal is very plausible, esp if Giroud is on <5 league goals by january, as we'll be having him as our only striking option for almost 2 months.
