Re: Reading in the "whatever its called this year cup"
RNT suggested Arshavin as the 'false 9' on another thread
I think that could be a good idea:
Szcz
Jenks Kos Djourou Miquel
Frimpong LeCoq
Walcott Eisfeld Gnabry
Arshavin

Re: Reading in the "whatever its called this year cup"
This will be anything but easy for us....Reading have shown they are a good passing team, with some decent players.....depends who wenker plays - camel probs which will be a waste of time....
Re: Reading in the "whatever its called this year cup"
i think we should stick theo up front for this one, btr than stickin camel up their. really gotta win this one, get some momentum going again

Re: Reading in the "whatever its called this year cup"
people talking about Wenger on this thread already is kind of sad
if you disagree with the team he picks in this game - fine
if you disagree with the formation he plays in this game - fine
if you disagree with what he says to the press afterwards - fine
slagging him off already is just a flashing neon sign of your obsession
this thread is about Reading v Arsenal in the league cup - Wenger has contributed to that issue in no way so far
why does every thread on this board have to be about slating our manager?
as I said, kind of sad...
anyway
I like RNT's idea of Arshavin as 'false 9' - hope we go with that + Gnabry, Eisfeld, Walcott behind
excited to see our backups, really glad this game's on telly

You always have a reason Wenger cant be blamed for a defeat. Norwich it was our 3rd string team would beat them and if our 1st team doesnt its not Wengers fault. United away already its the refs fault if we lose im just fucking about asking who's fault it is with this game

Re: Reading in the "whatever its called this year cup"
'always have a reason Wenger can't be blamed'?'
what did I say after the Norwich game? - I blamed Wenger
and FFS have you ever seen Arsenal play at OT before? booting our players on the floor and US getting deducted twice as many points for defending ourselves? Reyes hacked to pieces - Rio last man rugby tackles - last minute BS penalties (missed HAHAHA you c*nts) - Fletcher committing 1000 fouls - including scything Arshavin in the area for no pen - the Webb controlled '08 game where every time we have a counter - its pulled back for OUR fecking FK - ball booted at Gallas hand for their pen.
Hating the fact refs give ManUre everything has nothing specifically to do with our current manager. If he resigns after 10-0 loss to Reading I still expect Riley to pick the 'right' ref for Fergie.
This thread has nothing to do with either Wenger or 'blame'.
More excited about this than the QPR game in a way - would love Gnabry to demand more first team time.

Re: Reading in the "whatever its called this year cup"
I want to talk about Reading v Arsenal
you want to reprise 'Wenger is a git' or 'he's to blame for everything' subjects from other threads
how on earth does this result in you banging your metaphorical head against a wall?
Reading won't be able to learn much from QPR's performance - the Rs managed to push on and compress the game
we should have Walcott and Gnabry offering serious pace on the counter and stretching out the middle of the park
favours pulled back crosses and late runners - Eisfeld to score could be a good bet

Right lets get this straight and i'll spell it out for you now.highburyJD wrote:I want to talk about Reading v Arsenal

Im taking the piss out of YOU and your BabA stance. Wenger hasn't done anything wrong in the Reading game you're right. Now normally when someone takes the piss out of eachother on the forum the 'piss take-ee' normally takes it in good fun and even a bit of banter ensues(sp) but oh no JD takes it seriously and gets into some big debate about Wenger

Mate you could start a fight in an empty room ie

Re: Reading in the "whatever its called this year cup"
my mistake, great bantz - wit AND originality
never heard Wenger's a crunt anywhere else on this board ever
back to the actual subject, I really hope we don't play Chamakh v Reading
but if he can't get a game Tues thats final confirmation his Arsenal career is over

Can we just all kiss and make up and spread the Arsenal love. There's a prize on offer for anyone who makes the biggest luvvie banner for Saturday's game
