EVERTON AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thats the first thought that came into my mind as well

In a lot of ways everton might be just the type of fixture that wenger would want right now - they have dropped 5 pts in their last 2 games (versus reading and norwich too  ) so confidence wont be high in goodison either and if we score first the home fans wont be that happy. First goal will be especially crucial here and I dont give a fcuk which team scores it

I predict 2-2 with us going twice behind. Looking forward to the trip, love Goodison Park!

Home win. Wenger to moan about playing two away games in a row.

I will take a point right now :|

However, if we do win then I will be more than happy, whichever Arsenal team is playing :barscarf:

Love Goodison, my first proper away trip outside London / Norwich back in 1988 league cup semi, we won 1-0 and loved it.

One of our best ever performances was opening day of the season about 4/5 years back when we won 1-6 and looked awsome, as players (even Denilson  ) closed down, got tackles in and bossed them the whole match.

Anothe bore fest of a 0-0 (if we are lucky)

4-1 Everton

Fellaini hatrick from set-pieces.
Are you going to post his picture and celebrate his goals when he does?

If the away fans boo and it gets media coverage again, yes, maybe. Why?

This Arsenal is not an Arsenal I want to support, until it fundamentally changes I couldn't be bothered about the results and will enjoy the games at face value. I like Berbatov and Fellaini as players, so what?

I support Jack Wilshere and I support Oxlade Chamberlain, that's the extent of my support.
You disgust me.

1-0 win , and the pundits will wonder what we were moaning about....because that's the way things work. I could never want anything but an Arsenal win at any time, but even the most convincing win on Wednesday changes nothing . We need change at the very top.

Where is everyone drinking for this and what time will you be arriving up there?

A few of us will be up there at 5:30pm and will probably drink in the Arkles which is where we usually drink for Liverpool away.

Yes it has.

The Blackler by the station is the best place to drink. At Liverpool our lot were between that and the other place by the station...

A few decent places off the normal trail around the ground worth a look in. A quick one after in the Flat Iron is a good shout
