Shoulda scored yes, but wasn't as easy as an "absolute sitter".

This is the same Merson who also said "It was a damp squid for Liverpool” - too be fair, that one is often misquoted, and it always makes me laugh at the thought at a poor damp squid just sat there in the middle of the room looking all pathetic and miserable

Really cant stand QPR's Stefan M'bia. Hes feigning injury again. Not diving, just lying down pretending to be badly injured. Gets up and can hardly walk. Then all of a sudden hes fine. Fukin tool.

Not comparing him with your friend Giroud but I will say that I still expect sturridge to be a bad buy cos of his attitude

Would prefer to have someone with pace and who knows where the goal is than a big old carthorse with a great attitude (if a great attitude is looking forlorn every time something goes slightly wrong)

Personally think Sturridge will be a good buy
