We should be OK, but Blackburn have some forward players either with quality, experience or maybe a bit of both. If we are having one of our dopey days at the back it could be a bit squeaky.
Not a gimme in my book.

Certainly not a gimme. Rhodes has scored something like 7 in 7 for them. If this game was two months ago I would be confident with Forehead and co in the side. Blackburn have changed a bit since then, though.

Look at last night, Liverpool lost 2-0 and West Brom performed the perfect smash and grab. Anyway, no game is a gimme when it is Arsenal.

Interesting to see how Rhodes does against our centre backs.
No Wilshere, no Jenkinson. Play Sagna and Monreal on the flanks.
I predict a 3-1 win what with Rovers having played yesterday.

What did she wear?

Some key players need to be rested, on the bench yes, but rested for as long as possible, especially anyone just fit. I know this is out best shot at a trophy, but I still would like to compete for the CL and top 4 is still a big priority. A mix of youth and experience could really help. I would rest Wilshere and play Rosicky, which is a pretty good back up to have.

In the end, as long as we win and all the important players are healthy for the CL match on Tuesday, I'll be happy! It will be interesting to see who AW decides to put out there for the staring XI.

I was at Brighton v Blackburn this week.

Blackburn were total shit. Dirty bastards. Time wasting from the off. Should have lost by a big margin. Extremely lucky to score at the first attempt and nick a draw.

We should thrash this shower of shit without breaking sweat. Even if Mike Jasper Carrot Fucking Dean is in charge.

Any optimism I had of this game has now gone. He'll send one of ours off, award them a penalty for nothing and aloow time wasting and continuos leg breakers on our players.

He is a p***k. One of those refs that loves all the attention. At least we now all the offside decisions on one side of the pitch will be correct.

DJ Campbell is Cup tied for this one + Neanderthal man Dunn & Paul "Tosspot" Robinson are both ruled out through injury, shame about Robinson as I was looking forward to seeing him pick a few more balls out of the onion bag
