I can understand turning your back on Wenger but the players? why?

Considering how average this squad is, where did you expect us to finish? and how many points did you expect us to accumulate? - surely 70pts+ is no reason to turn your back on them?

Cos for all his bullshit, wenger still put out a team that should have pissed all over Bradford but clearly they couldn't be bothered. He did rest players v Blackburn but we still should have had enough quality to win that game too   I have long complained that wenger is no longer able to motivate his players but ffs there is no excuse for the Bradford game - if wenger should have gone after the 8-2 result in mancland then those prima donna's that fcuked the fans about in Bradford should have been sacked the next morning   :cussing: :cussing: Those games were replicated on several occasions in the league too

Yeah, I do accept that what happened in the domestic cups is unforgivable, however I do believe the way we've responded since January in the league (i.e. number 1 form team, picking up 29pts from 36pts) is enough to warrant a little respect and not have the crowd turn their back on them in disgust... that's all I'm saying. I'm not suggesting they deserve a heroes standing ovation!

But yes, the attitude in the domestic cups has left me seething

Some of the players shouldn't even be wearing the shirt...and Yes, that IS down to Wenger - As crap as I am at playing (now) - used to be tidy midfielder!  -If I was offered a large amount of money to play for my Beloved Arsenal I'd rip yer arm off before you could blink...so yes, there's That - HOWEVER - It IS all down to wenger, but how do we differentiate between showing our disgust at him and his failed project/s...and the players (or some of them) who are part of that failure.

I would happily applaude: JW, Kos, Santi, Theo, The Ox, Rosicky, Gibbs and Jenks (maybe mert :rubchin: ) - But the rest can fuck off. Which is why I also suggested wearing T-shirts with Wenker Out on their backs and so in turning so they can be seen by him, the board/owner, the players and the media...at least it seems aimed at him...NOT the players.

Just out of interest, where did you expect a squad of our limited quality to finish in the league? - is 70+pts really underachieving to the extent that they deserve the reaction you're suggesting? :?

I get the vitriol aimed at the manager and board because it's their job to ensure we have a competitive team, but having failed that, I'm not quite convinced the players deserve the reaction you and others are suggesting. :? - yeah, some deserve stick, but not all...
It's only due to the dramatic dip in quality of this league that we're still within touching distance of the holy grail that is the Champions League, in other seasons, with this cow pat of a squad, I reckon we'd be around 7th and I was hoping that would be the case as I hate the CL with a passion, hate Wenger with a passion and finishing 7th may, just may have seen this fraud off. So, if I'm at the game against Wigan, I will be hurling abuse, not only at Wenger, but yes, also at THIS GUTLESS BUNCH OF LOSERS that he's assembled.
:coffeespit: :coffeespit: :coffeespit: Quality Frank...QUAL IT EEEEE! :high5:

I think they should replace the lap of appreciation with one almighty great BBQ in the middle of the pitch with our hero in the "I luv AW" T-shirt lighting it !

Bradford was one poor game - and people are willing to write off every player involved???
remember Wrexham? should that team/manager have been written off

if not losing to lower division opposition is the Holy Grail Wenger's just about the best there is FFS

would love, for once, a game not horrific to follow
and it could actually happen - horrible run of games for Wigan

The Bradford game, although annoying, was just one of those games for me. The Blackburn home game in the FA Cup was far worse because there's no doubt we didn't play with the intensity or focus that we would if it was a league or CL game.

It was arrogant and was the low point for me this season, as it showed that even after 8 long years without a trophy, we still could raise ourselves for a domestic cup game :(

I kept expecting us to score throughout, trouble is our team basically felt the same
the sort of game in which GeorgeGraham would have subbed Ian Wright to buck up the other players ideas

I think that we will win a 5 goal thriller ,Wigan have to attack and we are good on the counter (ish) .
I also think the cup final will weigh heavily on them and they might not recover .

Alternatively they stuff shitty then on a wave of euphoria they will piss all over us on a golden shower type humiliation .
