Urawa Red Diamonds friendly thread?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

First goal was class. Lovely touch by Rosicky, good ball in by Ramsey, nice touch and pass from Walcott and a fantastic finish by Podolski. Pretty much every other player in our squad would have put that chance into row Z, great technique.

Having had a nice break from football with other sports to enjoy this summer and plenty of alcohol in my system I have to say I'm now ready for the new season to start. COYG :barscarf:

I'm not ready for the start of the bloody season at all. Thankfully I've booked 2 weeks away just before the big kick off so I can feel refreshed from an enjoyable Summer of sport before having to endure the torture of watching us slide out of the title race by October.

Just one fucking season I'd like to experience the same excitement we once felt when we signed the likes of Bergkamp, Campbell, Overmars etc

Instead we get Lord Cuntybollocks claiming that even without signings we'll still be title challengers. Yes of course, a team that finished 16 points behind the title winners (who gave up with 4 games to spare) will be really well set to close that gap when the 2 teams in between have gone on major Summer spending sprees, whilst we have Le Parcelforce's reject and Le Chapman to look forward to lumbering around in a 0-0 draw against Villa who "overall I believe defended very well"

Oh well, the cricket's going well and the tennis, cycling and rugby were enjoyable. Just 9 months of misery to look forward to now

Yes some more pathetic American sport to look forward is just what's needed to lift the gloom. I look forward to lawn bowls and the boat race more than I do that over complicated, tedious shite
