Well we are certainly fucking due one!! :|

Heart says 2-1 to The Arsenal. 8)

Head says 2-2 and Higgy to score after being roundly and continuously booed by our window lickers. :|

Everyone talking about Napoli like they're world beaters  They're an average team with a world class striker who have made a decent start to their season. Their defence is absolute dross and to be honest, if we can't beat Napoli at home then we shouldn't be in the Champions League.

I hope we win, but im not overly worried about this game. The fact is, we are nowhere near the level to win the CL, so going out early might give us a better chance to challenge for the title. The biggest game this week is West Brom.

2-1 to us I think - obviously higuain will score for them but I think their new players won't have settled in properly yet and we will win without ever having to hit top gear. I'm not disrespecting them by any means and I do believe that they will finish ahead of us in the group but I think that away from home they might struggle in this comp

You couldn't be more wrong. Apart from Higgy they've got the likes of Hamsik, Inler, Insigne, Zuniga, Mertens, Reina, Albiol and Pandev. They beat Dortmund in the first round and are top of their league. If you think they're a walkover you're in for a shock.

Completely agree with '89, Napoli are a very good side and if we beat them I will be extremely pleased. We have finally got a rock hard group and any two could qualify so I wouldn't dismiss Napoli as average until we've played all our group games.

Just noticed ITV are showing Celtic/Barcelona???? Guarantee if Manure were at home to Napoli tonight, ITV would be all over it. Why can't they show an English team in England, and a Jock team on McITV?
(ps hope the spelling is ok!)

We may not be able at this moment to win the CL and we are in a strong group however , we are capable of
progressing beyond the group stage, regardless of how that makes some of us feel !
A win plus another, and a draw will ensure later progression, so tonight’s match is vital that we don’t lose .
Napoli will feel the same way ,I can see a cat n mouse encounter coming !

Meeeow !

I can understand why people don't want us in the CL 'because we can't win it', but assuming we'd all like us to be in a position to challenge for it, I think we need to do well in it, because top players will only come to us if they think we can challenge. Would Ozil have signed if we'd been in the Europa League (what self-respecting team would want to play in that piss-poor excuse for a competition).
