AGM questions tomorrow ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wenger gave incredibly stupid wages to, and/or extended and improved contracts for, shit like Alumina, Vela, Mong, Legohead, Flappy, Park, Djourou, Bendtner etc etc etc when these players had not earned it and were proven to be poor quality long before we offloaded them.

The money was there, Wenger spent it very poorly. :banghead:
Nail on the head mate, sad thing is Mr dodgy toupee will no doubt give the useless fucker a new contract :banghead: and the cycle will continue

They make it up as they go along mate, the lot of em. They just say whatever they think will appease people at any given time.

There's been conflicting reports from Wenger & everyone on the board for the past 6 years - some say we have plenty of money, then 2 days later someone else says we have none. They're all serial liars, the accounts show their is plenty of money available. A good £60m+ still even after Ozil.

Edelman, Fiszman, Hill-Wood, Kroenke and Gazidis have ALWAYS said that we've had money to spend, so in the last 4 or 5 years have Matt Scott, Amy Lawrence, John Cross, Alex Fynn and Phillipe Auclair. The ONLY person who believed that the parsimony of the last 8 years was neccessary was Arsene Wenger.

....plus his thousands of loyal sheep who believe every word that passes his lips and treat those words as gospel.

A roof? As in one that completely covers the whole pitch as well as the one we already have covering the seats? What tit would want that, and how does that benefit the club's performance in any way?
I would be a great get out clause after an inactive transfer window though, "we couldn't afford any players because we are paying off the debt for a roof no one wants/needs" :banghead:

Absolutely - we matched Utd's bids for Smalling and Jones, had a "huge bid" according to Bob Wilson turned down for Reina about 3/4 years ago.
So it is just about how the money has been spent and that is all down to one man's decisions.

Who were any of the mugs coming out admitting that the team's temporary place at the top of the league made for a nice, friendly meeting. No wonder people say fans are fickle......one guy basically said it was a bit different to if we had been 8th....like a few points from a handful of games puts right all the misgivings about Kroenke, Gazidis and Wenger
