Weekends other games 19/20th Oct

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Essentially that was the correct decision and yesterdays was wrong

Both decisions were wrong I think? Henry's should have stood as Friedel had released the ball. Hazard's shouldn't have stood as the rules deem the keeper to have the ball under control while he's bouncing it.

Surely?

On the radio last night they were saying that while the keeper is in the process of kicking it (ie, has just released as he swings his foot) the ball is in his possession and any attempt to nick it off him is a foul. I think that was Mark Halsey quoting the fifa rule book

I have to say I'm getting as much pleasure from United's temporary demise as I am from our own temporary top of the table position

Hope he gets done.

Jammy goal for the new bestest footballer in the world. Didn't mean it, more Guzan's fault than anything else.

Wonder why Chiriches wasn't booked for his clear foul on pulling Agbonlahor.
